Definição de Símbolos
Símbolos são objetos, figuras, palavras ou gestos que representam ou
sugerem algo mais complexo, abstrato ou conceitual. São comumente
utilizados para transmitir informações, ideias, emoções ou conceitos de
forma mais simples e lúdica. Eles podem ser encontrados nas mais
variadas áreas, como da comunicação, da arte, em diversas religiões, da
política, da matemática e em tantas outras.

Os símbolos podem ter significados diferentes em contextos diferentes,


mesmo sendo o mesmo, já que estamos inseridos em um contexto onde
existem indivíduos diversos, de diferentes culturas e educação.

Na aula, nos foram apresentados elementos simbólicos relacionados à
antiguidade, dentre eles, elementos do Antigo Egito. Pensando nisso,
lembramos de exemplos da atualidade, os quais são utilizadas inspirações
de símbolos egípcios para formar uma identidade característica.
Percebemos que símbolos muitas vezes, mesmo que antigos, permanecem
na história e modelam certas áreas do nosso ambiente contemporâneo.
