PRESENT SIMPLE

O present simple forma-se a partir da base do verbo. EX: Verbo go: I go to school by bus. Na 3 pessoa do singular (he/she/it), acrescenta-se s ou es. EX: He goes to school on foot.

PRESENT SIMPLE
acrescenta-se es quando um verbo termina em : -o, -ss, -sh, -ch ou x: Ex: go goes kiss kisses wash washes watch watches fix - fixes

PRESENT SIMPLE
Ateno aos verbos be e have, que no seguem as mesmas regras.

I have You have He/she/it has We have You have They have

PRESENT SIMPLE
A forma negativa forma-se com
Dont / doesnt + verbo no infinitivo EX: I dont go to school on foot. She doesnt go to school by car. Ateno: verbo be am not / isnt / arent

PRESENT SIMPLE
A forma interrogativa forma-se com
Do / does + sujeito + verbo no infinitivo EX: Do you go to school on foot?. How does she go to school? Ateno: verbo be am I?/ are you? / is he/she/it? / are we? / are they?

PRESENT SIMPLE
O present simple usa-se nas seguintes situaes: para falar de aes habituais. EX: I usually go to the Algarve in the holidays. para falar de situaes permanentes. Ex: I live in Braga.

PRESENT SIMPLE
para falar de programas e horrios. EX: We have English on Tuesday at 3.15. para falar de verdades universais e leis naturais. EX: The Earth goes round the sun. com as seguintes expresses de tempo: Every day / every week / every month / every Saturday Usually / often / seldom / rarely / never / always / sometimes / occasionally / generally / normally

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
O present continuous forma-se com o auxiliar be no presente + a terminao -ing do verbo principal. EX: Verbo go: I am going home.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
A forma negativa forma-se com
Am not / isnt / arent + verbo +ing EX: I m not going home.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
A forma interrogativa forma-se com
be + sujeito+verbo +ing EX: Where are you going?.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
O present continuous usa-se nas seguintes situaes: para falar de uma ao que est a decorrer no momento em que estamos a falar. EX: We are having an English lesson (now).

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
para falar de uma ao que est a decorrer temporariamente, por um curto perodo de tempo.
EX: They are presenting some programmes about the Portuguese Republic on TV this month.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
para falar de planos j organizados para um futuro prximo. EX: The teacher is giving us some homework for the next lesson.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
com as expresses de tempo:
