ABSTRACT
Monitoring the impact of the training loads on the athletes body is a key factor in the
process of periodization as a way to avoid the reduction of the athletic performance.
The aim of this study was to verify the possible changes and the associations
between the stress scores of the Daily Analysis of Life Demands in Athletes
(DALDA), the training impulse (TRIMPs) gained by the Rating of Perceived Effort
(RPE) and the maximum aerobic performance (VO2max) during the training of the
athletes of Taekwondo. Ten athletes of Taekwondo were followed during five weeks
of their training, divided in 3 periods: base line (week 1), intensification (week 2, 3
and 4) and polishing (week 5). The training load of each week was quantified by the
TRIMP method by the RPE session. 48 hours after the end of each week of training
the DALDA was applied to verify the sources and symptoms of stress on the athletes
body and a test indicating the aerobic performance (30-15 ITF) was applied at the
end of each training period. Despite the increase in training load, there were no
significant differences in the DALDA scores on the week of base line period (W1:
208,209) relating to the week of intensification period (W2: 199,800; W3: 199,409;
W4: 184,300). However during the week of polishing period, a significant increase of
the DALDAs scores was noticed (W: 236,655). The DALDA scores presented a
weak and negative correlation with the RPE session (r= -0,25) and a moderate and
significant correlation with the VO2max through the 30-15 IFT (r= 0,66). Although the
DALDA seems to be less sensitive to the training load changes during the TKDs
athletes training, the correlations value between the stress reported in DALDA and
the VO2max, indicates that the DALDA could be an useful tool for monitoring the
aerobic performance in Taekwondos athletes.

exemplo a VFC, que so utilizados no monitoramento do estresse proporcionado
