This present article describes the
investigation about the school library, the use of
social media, and incentivate the practice of
reading-writing, based on the practice
community theory, with the principal objective
of propose a model of building readers
community, to the school´s community of the 1º
cicle of basic education. The investigation
will make a diagnosis of the relationship
reading-writing , library and school´s
community, identify the use of technologies of
information and communication, mainly web
2.0, on the school library, besides analizing the
use of Portal BIBLION in relation to the
adhesion of the students to the reading-writing
practices and the formation on a readers -
writers community. The research is presented
like a case study, of schools of Basic
Education, 1st cycle, Aveiro, Portugal.
