The methodologies used in this course advocate the development of knowledge and skills / competencies
in the future Portuguese language teacher:
- discussion of theoretical issues arising from research and reflection on the consequences of such results
for their practice as well as the possibility of integrating those results on the planning and organization of
the educational intervention.
- observation and systematization of peculiarities and regularities of language, from the standpoint of
theoretical and practical, which require rigorous in metalinguistic discourse used by future teachers.
The grammar workshops provide a grammatical work, organized and on progression, and systematic
observation of regularities of language. The reflection that the grammar workshops potentiate: it involves
the disclosure of data properly organized by the teacher, allows students the opportunity to practice the
knowledge acquired, requires an assessment of what was learned at the level of knowledge, understanding
and application.
