A Red Letter From The Reaper - Cap 1

— I refuse to do this. — That's what Loid, an expert undercover spy, said at a

cafeteria table to a government messenger, she was relaying the request to finish
his latest mission, the fake family he had created to establish contacts and
prevent the outbreak of a war in your country. He withdraws from the room
thoughtfully, questioning why he is going against his perfect demeanor as an agent.
The truth is that "playing house" was now part of him, and he loved the people who
by accident got involved in the mission without even knowing it existed. Anya and
Yor, respectively, a telepath and an assassin, obviously these small details were
out of Loid's knowledge, but nothing went unnoticed by Anya.
His daydreams of fond memories with his daughter and wife were soon trampled on as
he approached the building he lived in. Loud screams and thunderous noises could be
heard from the street in front, which made Loid sure that something was happening
in his house and made him run quickly in a mix of emotions that took his heart.
Arriving at the door of the house, his reaction is to start approaching, already
prepared for a possible attack, thinking that his dear family is in danger. As he
voraciously enters, all he sees is Anya lying on the wooden floor, playing dead in
a prank with Yor.
— Daddy! — Anya screams when she sees Loid at the door, the girl gets up and runs
towards him, pointing a toy pistol with a hook on the end. Already behind her, Yor
approaches smiling — Welcome back! — And in a few seconds she remembers something
and then takes a letter with a red seal from her pocket, giving it to Loid, and
that just by seeing the color of that seal he already knew what that letter was
about.

Run - Cap 2
— We don't have much time, pack everything important and get ready, we're going to
get out of here, we're in danger. — He said as he ran his hand over Anya's head
and walked right away to adjust some things that strangely already seemed to be
ready. — Get out of here? In danger? — Asked Yor, confused by the whole situation,
but going to pack a bag with essential things. Anya, already aware of the situation
after unwittingly reading her father's mind, found herself static talking to
herself — Daddy in danger?! You mean the bad guys are back again??! — As soon as
the girl comes to herself, she is filled with determination to help once more.
With everything and everyone ready to leave, Loid asks if they're forgetting
anything and Anya exclaims — Bond! — The tiny human project runs back into her room
and comes back pulling on a long red leash with a huge fluffy white dog.
— Okay, we were just forgetting about the d-! — The father is interrupted by a
sticky lick from Bond, which makes him just give up fighting the animal, so
everyone just leaves the house, with a certain regret to say goodbye to a home so
cozy.
After a few hours on a train journey, everyone arrives at the eastern end of the
city they already lived in, which gives Loid a brief feeling of lightness, because
the new house, even though it is in the same city, would still give him time to
leave behind of clues and consequently find the person who was threatening him.
During the entire train ride he had already processed in his mind everything he
could: people who knew where he lived, or even how long he might be under
surveillance. He had already started to think about strategies in the search for
possible confidential information, so as soon as he arrived and made sure that
everything was safe and in its proper place, he began to get ready to go out and
solve everything he should.
Anya in turn began to lose her confidence as soon as she arrived at the new house,
so she went to Yor to ask him for a favor — Mama! I want to call Damian. - Yor
turned in unbelievably surprised to hear the request - Damian Desmond? Are you
sure? — She asked as she remembered the time of the war between the two, noticed
how Anya was growing up and it was almost impossible to hide her mother's pride.
Anya just shake her head as a yes while
