• The vas deferens is formed by a firm tube (about the size of a spaghetti
thread) that carries the sperm from the epididymis.
• The prostate is located just below the bladder and surrounds the
urethra. When the prostate grows too large, it can obstruct the flow of
urine through the urethra and cause uncomfortable urinary symptoms.
• The urethra has a dual function in men. This channel constitutes the
part of the urinary tract that carries urine from the bladder and is the
part of the reproductive system through which semen is ejaculated.

Funções
• Vagina (parte do canal do parto), onde o esperma é
• Vagina (part of the birth canal), where sperm are
deposited and from which a baby can come out.
luz.
• Cervix (the lower part of the uterus), the area where
sperm enter and which opens (dilates) when a pregnant
woman is ready to give birth.
• Uterus, where the embryo can develop into a fetus.
do útero e o útero.
• Fallopian tubes (oviducts), where sperm can
fertilize an egg after passing through the cervix and uterus.
