The Miracle at the Wedding
John 2.1-11
Jesus and his disciples went to Cana. There was a wedding in that town. Everyone was
having fun. But there was a problem. There wasn't enough wine for everybody.
Mary, Jesus’ mother, told him about the problem, then she told the servants.

Mary: Do whatever he says!

Jesus: Fill those jars with water. Do
whatever
The servants did what he said.
he says!
Jesus: Take some of it to the man in charge of this feast.

The man in charge of the feast spoke to the bridegroom.

Man: This wine is better than any you have served so far. You kept the best
wine until late.

O milagre no casamento João 2:1-11

Jesus e seus discípulos foram a Caná. Havia um casamento naquela cidade. Todos
estavam se divertindo. Mas havia um problema, não havia vinho suficiente para todos.
Maria, mãe de Jesus, contou a ele sobre o problema, e então ela disse aos servos.

Maria: Façam tudo o que ele disser.

Jesus: Encham esses jarros com água.

Os servos fizeram o que ele disse.

Jesus: Leve um pouco disso ao homem encarregado deste banquete.

O homem encarregado do banquete falou com o noivo.
Homem: Este vinho é melhor do que qualquer um que você serviu até agora. Você
guardou o melhor vinho até tarde.

Be clean
Mark 1:40-45
One day a man with leprosy came to Jesus and begged him on his knees and said: <If
you want, you can make me clean.=

Jesus touched the man and said: I want, Be clean!=

Immediately leprosy left him, and he was clean.

Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: <Don't tell this to anyone. But go,
show yourself to the priest and offer something to God.=

However, the man didn’t follow Jesus’ instructions. Instead, He went out and began to
talk freely spreading the news. This caused some problems because Jesus couldn’t
enter towns openly anymore. He had to stay in lonely places. Yet the people still came
to him from everywhere.

Fique limpo Marcos 1:40-45

Um dia, um homem com lepra veio até Jesus e implorou de joelhos, dizendo: "Se
quiseres, podes me purificar."

Jesus tocou o homem e disse: "Quero, fique limpo!" Imediatamente, a lepra o deixou, e
ele ficou limpo.

Jesus o mandou embora imediatamente, com um forte aviso: "Não conte isso a
ninguém. Mas vá, Apresente-se ao sacerdote e ofereça algo a Deus'.

No entanto, o homem não seguiu as instruções de Jesus. Em vez disso, saiu e começou
a falar livremente, espalhando a notícia. Isso causou alguns problemas, pois Jesus não
podia mais entrar abertamente nas cidades. Ele tinha que ficar em lugares isolados.
Ainda assim, as pessoas continuavam a ir até ele de todos os lugares.

She's sleeping
Luke 8:40-56

Once more, they traveled across the lake in a boat to the other side. A large crowd
gathered around him while he was by the lake.
A Jewish leader named Jairus came forward and fell at his feet.

Jairus: My Little daughter is dying, please come and put your hands on her so that she
will be healed and live.

Jesus went with him. Some people came from the house of Jairus.

People: Your daughter is dead. Don9t bother the teacher anymore.

Jesus: Don9t fear, Jairus. Only believe.

Jesus did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John. When they arrived,
people were crying loudly.

Jesus: Why so much noise? She9s not dead; she9s sleeping.

They laughed at Jesus. But He put them all out.

Jesus went to the girl. He took her hand.

Jesus: Little girl, get up.

She rose and walked around. At this they were completely astonished.

Ela está dormindo

Lucas 8:40-56

Mais uma vez, eles atravessaram o lago em um barco para o outro lado. Uma grande
multidão se reuniu ao redor dele enquanto ele estava perto do lago.
Um líder judeu chamado Jairo veio à frente e caiu aos pés de Jesus.

Jairo: Minha filhinha está morrendo, por favor venha e coloque suas mãos sobre ela
para que ela seja curada e viva.

Jesus foi com ele. Algumas pessoas vieram da casa de Jairo.

Pessoas: Sua filha está morta. Não incomode mais o mestre.

Jesus: Não tenha medo, Jairo. Apenas acredite.

Jesus não deixou ninguém segui-lo, exceto Pedro, Tiago e João. Quando chegaram, as
pessoas estavam chorando em voz alta.

Jesus: Por que tanto barulho? Ela não está morta; ela está dormindo.

Eles riram de Jesus. Mas Ele os mandou todos sair. Jesus foi até a menina. Ele pegou a
mão dela.

Jesus: Menina, levante-se.

Ela se levantou e andou. Com isso, eles ficaram completamente espantados.

Who touched me?
Luke 8:40-56

While they were going to Jairus' house, a large crowd followed and pressed around
him. In the crowd there was a woman who9d been bleeding for twelve years. She had
spent all her money on doctors. They couldn9t help her, yet instead of getting better
she was worse.

She knew if she just touched his clothes she would be healed.
When she touched his cloak. Instantly, her bleeding stopped. The woman knew she
was healed. Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in
the crowd and asked 89Who touched me?99

The woman came to him and fell at his feet and, shaking with fear, she told him the
whole truth.

Jesus: Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.

Quem me tocou?
Lucas 8:40-56

Enquanto eles estavam a caminho da casa de Jairo, uma grande multidão os seguia e
se aglomerava ao redor dele. Na multidão, havia uma mulher que estava sangrando
havia doze anos. Ela tinha gastado todo o seu dinheiro com médicos, mas eles não
puderam ajudá-la, em vez de melhorar, ela piorava.

Ela sabia que se ela apenas tocasse em suas roupas ela seria curada. Quando ela tocou
em seu manto. Instantaneamente, seu sangramento parou. A mulher sabia que estava
curada. Jesus percebeu que saiu poder dele e se virou na multidão, perguntando

A mulher se aproximou dele, caiu a seus pés e, tremendo de medo, contou-lhe toda a
verdade.

Jesus feeds the crowd
Mathew 14: 13-21

People followed Jesus on foot around the Sea of Galilee.

So, when Jesus came ashore, he saw huge crowds waiting. He felt sorry for them and
healed those who were sick.

Disciples: It9s late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy some
food.
Jesus: They don9t need to leave. Give them some food.
Disciples: All we have is five loaves and two fish.

Taking these, Jesus looked up to heaven. He gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then
he gave it to the disciples, and the disciples gave the bread to the people. All the
people ate and were satisfied.

Jesus alimenta a multidão

Mateus 14:13-21

As pessoas seguiram Jesus a pé ao redor do Mar da Galileia. Assim, quando Jesus

chegou à costa, viu enormes multidões esperando. Ele sentiu compaixão por eles e
curou os que estavam doentes.

Discípulos: Está ficando tarde. Dispensa as multidões, para que possam ir às aldeias e
comprar algo para comer.
Jesus: Eles não precisam ir embora. Deem-lhes algo para comer.
Discípulos: Tudo o que temos são cinco pães e dois peixes.

Tomando esses, Jesus olhou para o céu. Ele deu graças e partiu os pães. Em seguida,
deu aos discípulos, e os discípulos deram o pão para as pessoas. Todas as pessoas
comeram e ficaram satisfeitas.

Jesus walks on the sea
John 6: 16-24
After feeding the crowds, Jesus sent the disciples back to the boat. But he went up the
mountain alone to pray. When evening came the boat was already a considerable
distance from the land. The boat was having trouble because of the waves, and the
wind was blowing against it.

In the middle of the night Jesus came to them walking on the lake. When the disciples
saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified they thought it was a ghost. But Jesus
said to them...

Jesus: Be brave! It's me, don't be afraid.'9

Peter: Lord, if it9s you, tell me to come to you on the water.
Jesus: Come.

So, Peter started walking on the water toward Jesus. But when Peter felt the wind, he
began to sink.

Peter: Lord, save me!

Jesus: You have so little faith. Why did you doubt? Lord.
save me!!
When they climbed into the boat, the wind stopped. Then those
who were in the boat worshiped him.

Disciples: Truly you are the Son of God!

Jesus caminha sobre o mar

João 6:16-24

Depois de alimentar as multidões, Jesus enviou os discípulos de volta ao barco. Mas ele
subiu a montanha sozinho para orar. Quando a noite chegou, o barco já estava a uma
distância considerável da terra. O barco estava com dificuldades por causa das ondas,
e o vento soprava contra ele.
No meio da noite, Jesus veio até eles caminhando sobre o mar. Quando os discípulos o
viram andando sobre o mar, ficaram aterrorizados, pensaram que era um fantasma.
Mas Jesus disse a eles...

Jesus: Coragem! Sou eu, não tenham medo.

Pedro: Senhor, se és tu, manda-me ir a ti sobre as águas.
Jesus: Venha.

Então, Pedro começou a andar sobre a água em direção a Jesus. Mas quando Pedro
sentiu o vento, começou a afundar.

Pedro: Senhor, salva-me!

Jesus: Você tem tão pouca fé. Por que duvidou?

Quando eles entraram no barco, o vento parou. Então aqueles que estavam no barco o
adoraram.

Discípulos: Verdadeiramente tu és o Filho de Deus!

The death of Lazarus
John 11:1-44

A man named Lazarus was sick in Bethany. Martha and Mary sent a message to Jesus
saying Lazarus was sick. But when Jesus heard this, he waited two days.
Then Jesus said to the disciples, 89let9s go to Bethany99. When Jesus got there, Lazarus
had been dead for four days.
Martha went out to meet Jesus while Mary stayed home.

Martha: Lord, if you'd been here, Lazarus wouldn't have died.

Jesus: Your brother will return from death.
Martha: I know, Lord. He will come back with the resurrection on the last day.
Jesus: I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me may die, but they'll
live again. Do you believe this, Martha?

Jesus: Where did you bury him?

Martha: Come and see, Lord.

Jesus began to cry.

Lazarus' tomb was covered by a stone. Lazarus
come out!
Jesus: Remove the stone.
Martha: Lord, the body's begun to stink.
Jesus: Martha, I told you to believe and you'd see God's glory.

He spoke loudly

Jesus: Lazarus, come out!

The dead man came out!

A morte de Lázaro
João 11:1-44

Um homem chamado Lázaro estava doente em Betânia. Marta e Maria enviaram uma
mensagem a Jesus dizendo que Lázaro estava doente. Mas quando Jesus ouviu isso,
ele esperou dois dias. Então Jesus disse aos discípulos: "Vamos a Betânia." Quando
Jesus chegou lá, Lázaro já estava morto havia quatro dias. Marta saiu para encontrar
Jesus, enquanto Maria ficou em casa.
Marta: Senhor, se estivesses aqui, Lázaro não teria morrido.
Jesus: Teu irmão ressuscitará.
Marta: Eu sei, Senhor. Ele ressuscitará na ressurreição no último dia.
Jesus: Eu sou a ressurreição e a vida. Aquele que crê em mim, ainda que morra, viverá
novamente. Você acredita nisso, Marta?
Jesus: Onde você o enterrou?
Marta: Venha e veja, Senhor.
Jesus começou a chorar.
O túmulo de Lázaro estava coberto por uma pedra.
Jesus: Removam a pedra.
Marta: Senhor, o corpo começou a feder.
Jesus: Marta, não lhe falei que, se você crer, verá a glória de Deus?
Ele falou em voz alta.
Jesus: Lázaro, saia!
O homem morto saiu!

Jesus washes his disciples feet
John 13:1-17

Jesus got up from the meal, poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples'
feet.

Peter: Lord, are you going to wash my feet?

Jesus: You don9t understand now what I am doing, but later you will understand.
Peter: No! You will never wash my feet.
Jesus: Unless I wash them, you have no part with me.
Peter: Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head.
Jesus: You call me 'Lord' and 'Master', and I've washed your feet. So, you should do the
same to each other. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done. I tell
you the truth, no servant is greater than his master.

Jesus lava os pés dos discipulos

João 13:1-17

Jesus levantou-se da refeição, colocou água em uma bacia e começou a lavar os pés
dos seus discípulos.

Pedro: Senhor, vais lavar-me os pés?

Jesus: Não compreendes agora o que estou a fazer, mas compreendê-lo-ás depois.
Pedro: Nunca me lavarás os pés!
Jesus: Se eu não te lavar, não terás parte comigo.
Pedro: Senhor, não só os meus pés, mas também as mãos e a cabeça.
Jesus: Vocês me chamam de 'Senhor' e 'Mestre', e eu lavei os vossos pés. Portanto,
vocês devem fazer o mesmo uns aos outros. Dei-vos um exemplo para que façam
como eu fiz. Eu vos asseguro, nenhum servo é maior do que o seu senhor.

Death of Jesus
Mathew 27:45-56

At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.
at three in the afternoon, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, <Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?=
(which means <My God, my God, why have you left me alone?)=
Some of the people standing there heard this. They said, <Listen! He is calling Elijah.=
One man there ran and filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered
it to Jesus to drink. <Now leave him alone. Let9s see if Elijah comes to take him down
from the cross,= he said.
Then Jesus cried in a loud voice, breathed his last and died.
At that moment, the curtain in the temple was torn. It ripped from top to bottom. This
opened the holy of holies.
And an earthquake rumbled across the land, and the rocks were split.
The captain of the Roman guards saw these things and was terrified. 89Absolutely, this
man was God9s Son,99 he declared.

A morte de Jesus
Mateus 27: 45-56

Ao meio-dia, uma escuridão cobriu toda a terra até as três da tarde. Às três da tarde,
Jesus exclamou com voz forte: "Eli, Eli, lamá sabactâni?" (o que significa "Meu Deus,
meu Deus, por que me abandonaste?").

Algumas das pessoas presentes ouviram isso e disseram: "Escutem! Ele está chamando
Elias." Um homem ali correu e encheu uma esponja com vinagre, colocou-a em uma
vara e a ofereceu a Jesus para beber. "Agora deixem-no em paz. Vamos ver se Elias
vem tirá-lo da cruz", ele disse. Então Jesus exclamou em voz alta, deu seu último
suspiro e morreu. Nesse momento, a cortina do templo se rasgou. Ela foi rasgada de
cima a baixo, abrindo o lugar santíssimo. E houve um terremoto que sacudiu a terra, e
as rochas se dividiram. O capitão da guarda romana viu essas coisas e ficou
aterrorizado. "Verdadeiramente, este homem era Filho de Deus", ele declarou.

He has risen from death
Mathew 28:1-10

At dawn on the first day, Mary from Bethany and Mary Magdalene came to his tomb.
Suddenly there was an earthquake, because an angel of the Lord went to the tomb
and rolled the stone away from the entrance. Then he sat on the stone.

Angel: Don9t be afraid, women. I know you9re looking for Jesus. He isn9t here. He has
risen from death just as he said he would. Here, look where he lay and go quickly tell
his disciple that Jesus is waiting for them in Galilee. Meet him there.

Ele ressuscitou dos mortos. Mateus 28-1-10

Ao amanhecer do primeiro dia, Maria de Betânia e Maria Madalena foram ao túmulo

dele. De repente, houve um terremoto, pois um anjo do Senhor foi ao túmulo e rolou a
pedra da entrada. Então ele se sentou sobre a pedra.

Anjo: Não tenham medo, mulheres. Eu sei que vocês estão procurando Jesus. Ele não
está aqui. Ele ressuscitou dos mortos, assim como havia dito. Aqui, vejam onde ele
estava deitado, vão depressa contar aos discípulos que Jesus está esperando por eles
na Galileia. Encontrem-se com ele lá.

I saw the Lord
Mathew 28:1-7

Mary Magdalene stood alone, crying by the tomb. She turned around. There was Jesus!
But Mary did not realize that it was Jesus. She thought he was the gardener.

Mary Magdalene: Sir, Have you taken away my Lord? Tell me where you9ve laid him.
Jesus: Mary.
Mary Magdalene: Master.
Jesus: Don9t hold onto me, for I haven9t returned to my Father yet. Go and tell my
brothers this 89I9m going up to my Father and your Father. I9m going to my God and
your God.99

Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples 89I9ve seen the Lord!99 And she
told them what had happened.

Eu vi o Senhor
Mateus 28:1-7

Maria Madalena ficou sozinha, chorando junto ao túmulo. Ela virou-se e viu Jesus! Mas
Maria não percebeu que era Jesus. Ela pensou que ele fosse o jardineiro.

Maria Madalena: Senhor, você tirou o meu Senhor? Diga-me onde você o colocou.
Jesus: Maria.
Maria Madalena: Mestre.
Jesus: Não me segure, pois ainda não voltei para o meu Pai. Vá e diga aos meus irmãos:
"Estou subindo para o meu Pai e Pai de vocês, para o meu Deus e Deus de vocês."

Maria Madalena foi e anunciou aos discípulos: "Eu vi o Senhor!" E ela contou a eles o
que tinha acontecido.

Jesus appears in Jerusalem
John 20:19-23:

It was the first day of the week. That evening Jesus9 followers were together. Then
Jesus
came and stood among them.

Jesus: Peace be with you!

They were fearful and terrified. They thought they were seeing a ghost.

Jesus: Why are you troubled? Why do you doubt what you see? Look at my hands and
my feet. It is I myself! Touch me. You can see that I have a living body; a ghost does not
have a body like this.=

After he said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. His followers were
overjoyed, They still could not believe it.

Jesus: Do you have any food here?

They gave him a piece of cooked fish. While the followers watched, Jesus
took the fish and ate it.
Thomas, one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus
came. So the other disciples told him.
Disciples: We have seen the Lord!
Thomas: Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger
where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I won9t believe.

Jesus aparece em Jerusalém João 20:19-23

Era o primeiro dia da semana. Naquela noite, os seguidores de Jesus estavam

reunidos. Então Jesus veio e ficou em pé no meio deles.

Jesus: Paz seja com vocês!

Eles estavam com medo e aterrorizados. Pensavam estar vendo um fantasma.

Jesus: Por que estão perturbados? Por que duvidam do que estão vendo? Olhem para
as minhas mãos e os meus pés. Sou eu mesmo! Toquem-me. Vocês podem ver que
tenho um corpo vivo; um fantasma não tem um corpo assim.

Depois de dizer isso, ele mostrou-lhes suas mãos e pés. Seus seguidores ficaram muito
felizes, mas ainda não conseguiam acreditar.

Jesus: Vocês têm algo para comer aqui?

Deram-lhe um pedaço de peixe cozido. Enquanto os seguidores observavam, Jesus

pegou o peixe e comeu.
Tomé, um dos Doze, não estava com os discípulos quando Jesus veio. Então os outros
discípulos contaram a ele.

Discípulos: Vimos o Senhor!

Tomé: A menos que eu veja as marcas dos pregos nas suas mãos e ponha o meu dedo
onde os pregos estavam, e ponha a minha mão no lado dele, não vou acreditar.

Thomas sees the Lord
John 20:24-29
A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them.
Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them.

Jesus: Peace be with you!

Jesus: Thomas, put your finger here, see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into
my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
Thomas: My Lord and my God!
Jesus: Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not
seen and yet have believed.

Tomé vê o Senhor

Tomé: Meu Senhor e meu Deus!
Jesus: Porque você me viu, você acreditou; bem-aventurados são aqueles que não
viram e ainda assim acreditaram.

Jesus is taken to heaven
Luke 24: 33-53

After Jesus’ death, he showed himself to them and proved in many ways that he was
alive. For forty days, he stayed with the disciples speaking about God’s kingdom. He
ordered them not to leave Jerusalem. Rather, they had to wait there for the Father’s
promise.

Disciples: Lord, are you, at this time, going to give the kingdom back to Israel?
Jesus: You can’t know the times the father has set for these things. But you will receive
power. The Holy Spirit will come upon you like clothing. Then you’ll speak for me
starting in Jerusalem. Then in Judea, Samaria, and in every part of the world.

After Jesus said this, he was lifted up as they watched. Then a cloud took him out of
sight. While he was going, the disciples gazed toward heaven. Two men wearing
White clothes stood with them.

Angels: Men from Galilee, why are you standing there looking up? This Jesus has been
taken from you into heaven. But he’ll come back in the same way as you saw him go.

Jesus é levado ao céu. Lucas: 24:33-53

Após a morte de Jesus, ele se mostrou a eles e provou de muitas maneiras que estava
vivo. Durante quarenta dias, ele ficou com os discípulos, falando sobre o reino de Deus.
Ele ordenou que eles não deixassem Jerusalém, mas que aguardassem ali a promessa
do Pai.

Discípulos: Senhor, agora é o momento em que vais restaurar o reino a Israel?

Jesus: Não cabe a vocês saber os tempos que o Pai estabeleceu para essas coisas. Mas
vocês receberão poder quando o Espírito Santo descer sobre vocês, e serão minhas
testemunhas em Jerusalém, em toda a Judeia e Samaria, e até os confins da terra.
Depois de dizer isso, enquanto eles observavam, Jesus foi elevado e uma nuvem o
escondeu da vista deles. Enquanto ele subia, os discípulos olhavam fixamente para o
céu. Dois homens vestidos de branco apareceram junto a eles.

Anjos: Homens da Galileia, por que vocês estão olhando para o céu? Esse mesmo
Jesus, que foi levado de vocês para o céu, voltará da mesma forma como o viram
partir.
