• Express Setup – configuração (setup) inicial baseda na página Web dos

switches Stratix 8000/8300

• STP- Spanning-Tree Protocol

• MST – Multi-Instance Spanning-Tree Protocol
• PVST – Per-Vlan Spanning-Tree Protocol
• BPDU – Bridge Protocol Data Unit
• Portfast – permite à porta "pular" a fase listening/learning

• Auto-MDIX – Medium Dependent Interface Cross-Over

VLAN – Uma LAN virtual, um grupo de hosts que se comunicam como se

estivessem conectados ao mesmo domínio de broadcast,
independemente de sua localização física.

 Stratix 6000: configuração inicial

• O Stratix 6000 tem IP Address padrão de 192.168.1.1

• Configure o IP Address no computador como Classe 192.168.1.0/24

• Abra o web browser e digite 192.168.1.1 na URL

• Deixe o username em branco e a password é PASSWORD

 Express Setup para o 8000/8300

• Tenha certeza que haja pelo menos uma porta Ethernet disponível no
Stratix, para o Express Setup.
• Configure a interface de rede no seu computador para obter um IP
Address via DHCP.
• Energize o Stratix.
• Estará pronto para começar o Express Setup quando os leds EIP Mod e
Setup estiverem piscando em verde.
• Pressione e solte o botão Express Setup.
• Conecte um cabo Ethernet da porta do computador à porta do Stratix
que estiver piscando (geralmente é a Porta FastEthernet 1).
• Abra o seu web browser. Se não aparecer a web page do Stratix, digite
uma URL conhecida, que o browser será direcionado ao do Stratix.
• A password é “switch” com 12.2(52) e superior (nos anteriores, deixar
em branco).

 Problemas comuns

• Duas placas de rede Ethernet (NICs) / Wireless e NIC

– Desabilite a segunda NIC e/ou o Wireless ou manualmente entre IP 169.254.0.1
• A partir do Internet Explorer 8
– Entre algum texto para username (exemplo: a letra “a” )
• DHCP timeout vs Spanning-tree learning mode
– Comando prompt no computador ( ipconfig /release depois ipconfig /renew )
• Outros equipamentos conectados
– Remova qualquer outro servidor DHCP (desconecte todos os outros equipamentos
do switch)
• Softwares VPN e Firewall
– Desabilite os softwares de VPN e Firewall de seu computador.
• Express Setup timeout – não faz o upgrade de Firmware

 Smartports

• São macros que rodam numa porta, otimizando-a para um determinado

tipo de equipamento (device)
– “None” é aplicada por default. Use “None” para remover a configuração otimizada.
• Automation Device
– Configura a porta para Access port / Portfast
– Otimiza o gerenciamento da fila para tráfico CIP
– Port Security configurada para apenas 1 MAC
• Desktop for Automation
– Configura a porta para Access port / Portfast
– Port Security configurada para apenas 1 MAC
• Switch for Automation
– Configura a porta para Trunk
• Router for Automation
• Port Mirroring

– Não são compatíveis
– Stratix 8000 / 8300: o padrão é MST
– Stratix 6000 não suporta MST
– Nas switches Cisco o padrão é PVST
