HINO AOS DEUSES

Ouvi-me Deusas e Deuses,

Vós que detendes o leme da sagrada sabedoria.
Conduzi-me a mim, que sou mortal, de volta para junto dos
imortais, acendendo em minh’alma a chama do retorno.

Possam as inefáveis iniciações de vossos hinos conceder-me o poder

de escapar da caverna escura e de assim me purificar.

Ouvi-me, poderosos libertadores.

Dissipai a neblina que me cerca e concedei-me o poder de

compreender os livros sagrados; Convertei a escuridão na mais pura
e sagrada luz, para que eu possa verdadeiramente conhecer minha
natureza divina e incorruptível.

Que eu nunca seja dominado por preocupações mundanas nem ser

submerso pelas águas do esquecimento, longe dos Deuses e Deusas.

Que minha alma esteja livre dos grilhões deste mundo, no qual fui
deixado para expiar por gélidas gerações. Não quero vagar a esmo
novamente.

Ó Deuses e Deusas, soberanos de radiante sabedoria, ouvi-me!

Revelai-me a mim, que me apresso pelo Caminho de Volta, os
êxtases sagrados e as iniciações que representam o cerne de vossas
sagradas palavras!
“Hear me, O Gods, you who hold the rudder of sacred wisdom.
Lead us mortals back among the immortals as you light in our souls
the flame of return. May the ineffable initiations of your hymns give
us the power to escape the dark cave of our lives and purify
ourselves.
Hearken, powerful liberators!

Dispel the surrounding obscurity, and grant me the power to

understand the holy books; replace the darkness with a pure and
holy light. Thus may I truly know the incorruptible God that I am.
May a wicked spirit never keep me, overwhelmed by ills,
submerged in the waters of forgetfulness and far away from the
Gods and Goddesses.

May my soul not be fettered in the jails of life where I am left to

suffer a terrifying atonement in the icy cycles of generation. I do not
want to wander anymore.

O you, sovereign Gods of the radiant wisdom, hear me! Reveal to

one who hastens on the Path of Return the holy ecstasies and the
initiations held in the depth of your sacred words!”

Saudações a ti, Lua, Djehuti!

Tu, que abres caminho para os Deuses;
Tu, que conheces os segredos e os registra nas letras sagradas;
Tu, que sabes reconhecer a verdade nas palavras;
Tu, que és o juiz de cada um de nós;
Tu, Deus do olhar penetrante, que altivo se posta na barca de um
milhão de anos;

Tu, mensageiro da humanidade, que conhece cada homem pelas

suas palavras;
Tu, que devolve todo mal à sua fonte;
Tu, que em tudo satisfaz à Rá;
Tu, que tudo informa ao Deus único;
Tu, que chamas os céus ao amanhecer, e que de tudo se lembra;

Tu, que proteges a barca do sol durante a noite e a acompanha

durante o dia, que te postas de braços estendidos sobre a proa do
navio;
Tu, que controla suas rédeas, quando a barca do dia e a barca da
noite estão em júbilo cruzando os céus;

Respeitosamente te saúdo!
A enéada da barca da noite a ti adora, ó Djehuti, pois diz: saudações
a ti, filho e glória de Rá, tu a quem os Deuses aclamam!

Desejo honrar-te dizendo: Grande és tu Djehuti, e grandes são os

teus atos!

You, who makes a place for the Gods!
You, who knows the secrets and inscribes them in the sacred
characters!
You, who knows how to recognize the truth of discourse!
You, who is the judge of each of us!
You, the God of penetrating gaze, who stands on the million year
bark!
You, the messenger of mankind, who knows each man by his
spoken word!
You, who returns every evil action against its author!
You, who satisfies Ra!
You, who advise the unique Lord and ensures that He knows
everything that happens!
You, who calls the skies at sunrise and does not forget the reports of
past events!
You, who protects the sun bark during the night and accompanies
the bark of the day, standing with your arms extended at the prow
of the ship!
You, who seizes the ropes, when the bark of day and the bark of
night are at the fete of the crossing of the sky!”

The Ennead in the bark of night adores you, O Thoth,
saying:
“Hail to you, son and glory of Ra, you that Gods acclaim!
Be honored, O Thoth!”
