Right now, I am unemployed, but I am studying Agricultural Engineering at the

universidad nacional. Occasionally I work in the family business, a drugstore in the

north of the city.
I enjoy cooking, reading about bacteria and fungi. Sometimes I go hiking in the
eastern hills, and it's something I really enjoy. I like to exercise, go out cycling,
climb Monserrate.
My favorite thing to cook is banana cake. It is really delicious, I prepare the cake
with my grandmother's recipe.
To prepare this cake, you need wheat flour, eggs, butter, sugar and bananas. First
you have to cook a little bit the bananas, then you have to mix the eggs, flour,
sugar and butter. Then you add the bananas, mix until you get the right texture and
that's it. You take the preparation to the oven, at 250 degrees centigrade for one
hour. And there you go, that's it. It's really easy.
I have learned a few things, mainly in university classes. I have also learned
through music, since I was little I have listened to music in English, like Madonna,
Blink 182, Evanescense...so music has also taught me vocabulary.
I am not a consummate follower of any specific series. But I have watched a few
series, such as "The Handmaid's Tale" "Game of Thrones" "Euphoria" I am not
finished with "Big little lies". I think the one I liked the most is "The Handmaid's
Tale".
"The Handmaid's Tale" is a utopian series, recreating a futuristic world, perhaps. In
the series, women are condemned to reproduce obligatorily, it is a completely
misogynist and sexist world, under the command of a completely religious and
extremist government. It is a really dramatic series and many times it makes you
cry. The main character is DeFred, the actress is Elizabeth Moss.
I live with my mother, she is a pharmaceutical technician. My dad died twenty-three
years ago.
I want to study at the Centro Colomboamericano because I have heard that it is an
excellent institution for learning the English language, you have very good human
and technological resources for teaching the English language. In addition, I
believe that you have the necessary experience.
I like the English language, I am sure that it is a tool with which I will be able to
develop myself in many areas, not only academically but also at work and in
general, in daily life. English is also the language in which science, politics and
cultural life are written, so it is important for me to study English.
Well...I believe that after this pandemic there is a lesson to be learned and that is
that life is totally uncertain. So, making plans seems to be a mistake. However, in
N years, I would like to be practicing agronomy, in research on genetics and
microbiology. I would also like to have some command or knowledge of English
and try to be happy with what I have and who I am.
I would like to work in research, with modified plants, or i would also like to work
in an international food trade company.
today I am going to visit my grandmother, she has been a little sick, but first I am
going to the optometrist, because I need to change my glasses.
Yesterday I was in the house all day. I did the housework in the morning, in the
afternoon I watched the last episode of the first season of Euphoria, but before that
I had lunch. I cooked rice, vegetables and chicken. Last night, I talked to some
friends from the university, then I made tea and went to bed at 10pm.
