Chama-se Theo. Ele muito dorminhoco e por vezes um pouco traquinas. Ele ainda tem muito que
aprender mas, com a ajuda da nanny Daisy, ser tudo muito mais fcil, pois ela tem uma flor mgica.
Os seus melhores amigos so a Melody e o Rudy. Eles so irmos e tm um co chamado Sid.
A Melody muito simptica e meiga. O seu passatempo favorito tocar piano. Ela e o seu irmo so
ingleses.
O Rudy gosta muito de jogar futebol e de brincar com o Sid, que adora pregar-lhe partidas. Ele um

Meet the world


Mitos e lendas
Os mitos e as lendas so, geralmente, histrias baseadas em tradies, feitas para
explicar o universo, a criao do mundo, fenmenos naturais ou outro facto que parea
inexplicvel. Nestas histrias confunde-se a realidade com a fantasia, criando-se heris
ou figuras irreais que acabam por nos ajudar a compreender como vivem, pensam,
se organizam e se relacionam povos de diferentes espaos e tempos.
O Adamastor, por exemplo, atormentava
os navegadores portugueses que tentavam
dobrar o cabo das Tormentas em busca
de novos horizontes. Tinha os olhos (eyes)
negros, os cabelos (hair) cheios de terra,
a boca (mouth) negra e os dentes amarelos.

O Monstro de Loch ness um monstro


aqutico que, segundo a lenda, habita no
lago com o mesmo nome e faz parte do
imaginrio popular da Esccia e da cultura
deste pas. Nessie um exemplo clssico
de monstro.

CICLOPES eram gigantes que tinham

de brutos, aterrorizantes e mantinham
preso, para depois devorar, qualquer
