Graduada em Letras (Português) pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), Especialista em


Ensino de Inglês (UFPE) e Mestre em Letras/Linguística Aplicada ao Ensino de Línguas, também pela UFPE.
Durante mais de 20 anos, integrou a equipe pedagógica da Secretaria de Educação de Pernambuco, onde
atuou na formação de professores de Inglês, assim como na elaboração de materiais e documentos
orientadores para a rede pública estadual, especialmente em sua área, e coordenou projetos de
ensino-aprendizagem de línguas. Atualmente, está à frente do projeto de EAD do Programa de Línguas
e Informática da UPE – PROLINFO –, colaborando também com outras atividades desse programa, entre
as quais ministrando aulas na Pós-Graduação. Atua no Ensino Superior como professora de Inglês e
Português, áreas de sua preferência.
