Comparativo e Superlativo em Inglês

“Para formar o comparativo, acrescentamos –ER ao adjetivo ou usamos a palavra
MORE antes do adjetivo e o termo THAN depois. “
“Para o superlativo, usamos o artigo definido THE antes do adjetivo e acrescentamos
–EST ao mesmo, ou usamos a expressão THE MOST antes do adjetivo.”
“Para adjetivos terminados em Y, temos de mudar o Y por um "i" antes de incluir a
terminação.”
Ex:

ADJETIVOS COM TRÊS OU MAIS SÍLABAS

Para formar o comparativo dos adjetivos com três ou mais sílabas,

acrescentamos more  (adjetivo) than  /  less (menos) than. Para construir o superlativo,
acrescentamos the  most  (adjetivo) / the least. 
Veja exemplos:
