ADJECTIVES
1.DEGREE OF EQUALITY

• Usamos para dizer que dois objetos ou pessoas são iguais.

• Example: John is as tall as Mary. (Os dois tem a mesma altura)
• Cláudio is as intelligent as Carlos. (Os dois são inteligentes)
•  
• Nota-se que os adjetivos tall/intelligent são usados entre as ... as.
2. DEGREE OF SUPERIORITY
• Para falarmos em grau comparativo de superioridade em inglês devemos classificá-los em dois
tipos: short (curto) e long (longos)
• A. Para fazermos o comparativo dos adjetivos curtos, acrescentamos "er" ao adjetivo e a
palavra than (do que). Complete o resto da tabela.

DEGREE OF INFERIORITY

• Observe os exemplos a seguir:

• I spent less money than you. (Eu gastei menos dinheiro do que você.)
• That hat is less expensive than the others. (Aquele chapéu é menos caro do que os outros.)
• Note que no comparativo de inferioridade também não há diferença se o adjetivo é curto ou
longo. Ele é formado com less........than.
• Com base nas explicações acima, reescreva as sentenças a seguir usando o comparativo de
inferioridade.

• Para falarmos em grau superlativo em inglês devemos classificá-los em dois tipos: short
(curto) e long (longos). Aqui, estamos comparando algo ou alguém com relação a um grupo, a
um todo.

A. Para os adjetivos curtos terminados em monossilábicos e os dissilábicos recebem

“the + adjetivo + est”. Complete o resto da tabela.
