FATO RELEVANTE

A Companhia de Saneamento de Minas Gerais - COPASA MG, em atendimento ao disposto na

Instrução CVM nº 358/02, em complemento ao Fato Relevante divulgado em 26.05.2020, informa
aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral que recebeu, nesta data, Ofício da Secretaria de Estado de
Desenvolvimento Econômico - SEDE, informando que o Conselho Mineiro de Desestatização - CMD
autorizou a assinatura de contrato com o Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social
(BNDES), no âmbito do Termo Aditivo ao Acordo de Cooperação Técnica assinado em 19.02.2020,
para prestação de serviços técnicos necessários a estruturação e implementação do processo de
desestatização da COPASA MG, para a qual é necessária autorização legislativa.

A Companhia manterá o mercado informado a respeito dos desdobramentos do assunto objeto deste
Fato Relevante.

MATERIAL FACT

Companhia de Saneamento de Minas Gerais - COPASA MG, pursuant to CVM Instruction 358/02,
further to the Material Fact disclosed on May 26, 2020, hereby informs its shareholders and the market
in general that today it has received an Official Letter from the State Economic Development
Secretariat – SEDE stating that the Privatization Council of Minas Gerais State – CMD has authorized
the signing of a contract with the Brazilian Development Bank – BNDES, within the scope of the
Amendment to the Technical Cooperation Agreement entered into on February 19, 2020, for the
provision of technical services needed to structure and implement the privatization program of
COPASA MG, which requires legislative authorization.

The Company will keep the market informed about the developments of the subject matter of this
Material Fact.
