Climas

Climate is the succession of different weather states that

repeat and succeed in the atmosphere throughout the year
in a given region. To know the climate of a place, it is
necessary to make observations of the weather daily, for
many years, to verify the regularity of the combinations of
its elements.

The elements that make up the climate are: temperature,

atmospheric pressure (corresponds to the force caused by
the force of air), precipitation (rain, snow, and hail) and
winds.

Clima é a sucessão de diferentes estados do tempo que se

repetem e se sucedem na atmosfera ao longo do ano em
determinada região. Para saber qual o clima de um lugar, é
necessário fazer observações do tempo atmosférico
diariamente, durante muitos anos, para verificar a
regularidade das combinações dos seus elementos.

Os elementos que formam o clima são: a temperatura, a

pressão atmosférica (corresponde à força provocada pela
força do ar), as precipitações (chuva, neve, e granizo) e os
ventos.

Atmospheric Weather
Tempo atmosférico

The weather of a day determines the weather and not the

weather, that is, weather is a passing condition of weather
elements. It varies from day to day or even hour to hour. At
one time of the day, the temperature may be high, with the
sun shining, and at another, there may be rain and a drop in
temperature.

Weather forecasts give an idea of the combination of

weather elements at any given time. In general, the
expressions are used: fair weather, cloudy weather, partially
cloudy or rainy weather.

As condições atmosféricas de um dia determina o tempo

atmosférico e não o clima, ou seja, o tempo atmosférico é
uma condição passageira dos elementos do clima. Ele varia
de um dia para outro ou mesmo de uma hora para outra. Em
dado momento do dia, a temperatura pode se apresentar
alta, com o sol brilhando, e em outro pode ocorrer chuva e
queda de temperatura.

As previsões meteorológicas dão ideia da combinação dos

elementos do clima em dado momento. Em geral são usadas
as expressões: tempo bom, tempo nublado, parcialmente
nublado ou tempo chuvoso.

Tipos de clima

Climates are classified by meteorologists and climatologists

based primarily on temperature and humidity. Monthly
averages of temperature and precipitation measured at
meteorological stations in various parts of the world are
taken into account. As for the temperature, the climate can
be: hot, temperate, cold and polar. As for air humidity, the
climate can be: super humid, humid, semi-arid and arid. The
combination of these variables of temperature and humidity
determines the different types of climates, which receive
the names of the "thermal zones of the Earth", they are:

• Tropical - warm climate all year round, with only two

well-defined seasons: mild, dry winter and hot, rainy
summer.
• Equatorial – high temperatures and abundant rainfall
throughout the year, with a small annual thermal
amplitude. It takes place in the hottest zone on the
planet.
• Subtropical – abundant and well distributed rains, hot
summers and cold winters, with a significant annual
thermal amplitude.
• Temperate – only in temperate climate zones are clear
definitions of the four seasons found.
• Polar or glacial – climates with low temperatures all
year round, reaching a maximum of 10°C in the
summer months.
Depending on certain locations, the climate can also be
Mediterranean, desert or arid, semi-arid and cold.

The Mediterranean climate has hot, dry summers, mild and

rainy winters. From a temperature point of view it is very
similar to tropical climates. Its rainfall levels are a little
lower and rains occur in autumn and winter. It is found in
areas near the Mediterranean Sea (southern Europe and
North Africa), southeastern Australia, the American west
coast and central Chile.

The semi-arid climate is a transitional climate, which is

characterized by scarce and poorly distributed rainfall
throughout the year. It is found in both tropical regions
(where temperatures are high year-round) and temperate
zones (where winters are cold).
Os climas são classificados pelos meteorologistas e
climatologistas com base principalmente na temperatura e
na umidade. São levadas em consideração as médias
mensais de temperatura e de precipitações medidas nas
estações meteorológicas existentes em várias partes do
mundo. Quanto à temperatura, o clima pode ser: quente,
temperado, frio e polar. Quanto à umidade do ar, o clima
pode ser: superúmido, úmido, semiárido e árido. A junção
dessas variáveis de temperatura e umidade determinam os
diversos tipos de climas, que recebem os nomes das “zonas
térmicas da Terra”, são eles:
 • Tropical - clima quente o ano inteiro, apresentando
apenas duas estações bem definidas: inverno ameno e
seco e verão quente e chuvoso.
• Equatorial – temperaturas elevadas e chuvas
abundantes o ano inteiro, com pequena amplitude
térmica anual. Ocorre na zona mais quente do planeta.
• Subtropical – chuvas abundantes e bem distribuídas,
verões quentes e invernos frios, com significativa
amplitude térmica anual.
• Temperado – apenas nas zonas climáticas temperadas
que são encontradas definições claras das quatro
estações do ano.
• Polar ou glacial – climas com baixas temperaturas o
ano inteiro, atingindo no máximo 10°C nos meses de
verão.

Dependendo de certos locais o clima também pode ser

mediterrâneo, desértico ou árido, semiárido e frio.

O clima mediterrâneo apresenta verões quentes e secos,

invernos amenos e chuvosos. Do ponto de vista da
temperatura é bastante parecido com os climas tropicais.
Seus índices pluviométricos são um pouco menores e as
chuvas ocorrem no outono e no inverno. É encontrado nas
áreas próximas ao Mar Mediterrâneo (sul da Europa e norte
da África), no sudeste da Austrália, na costa oeste
americana e no centro do Chile.
O clima semiárido é um clima de transição, que se
caracteriza por apresentar chuvas escassas e mal
distribuídas ao longo do ano. É encontrado tanto em regiões
tropicais (onde as temperaturas são elevadas o ano todo)
quanto em zonas temperadas (onde os invernos são frios).

Organizational climate is the degree of satisfaction

measured within a company. It is the collective perception
of the “psychological atmosphere” created in the work
environment. It is the set of different aspects of business
culture, behavioral standards, norms and principles found
in an organization, which influence the productivity and
profitability of a business.

Clima organizacional é o grau de satisfação medido dentro

de uma empresa. É a percepção coletiva da “atmosfera
psicológica” criada no ambiente de trabalho. É o conjunto
dos diferentes aspectos da cultura empresarial, dos padrões
comportamentais, das normas e princípios encontrados

Se traduzirmos ao pé da letra, fica bem estranho, algo como:
roubar o trovão de alguém. Essa expressão é comumente
