Fair play
Definição:
“Fair play” é uma expressão oriunda da língua inglesa e que significa, em
português, “jogo limpo”.
Ela está relacionada à ética, ou seja, os participantes devem jogar de modo
que não prejudiquem os adversários.
Esse termo foi criado a fim de incentivar os jogadores de futebol a cumprirem
as regras, respeitarem os oponentes, o árbitro e os torcedores.
Regras do FairPlay:
Atualmente, esse termo geralmente define um conjunto de
regras que definem os valores representados pelos atletas.
Esses princípios podem ser divididos em quatro grupos:
1-Oportunidades iguais;
2-Renúncia consciente à vitória desonesta;
3-Cumprimento voluntário das regras do jogo;
4-Respeito pelo oponente.
Exemplos de fair play no esporte:
Entregar a bola para o adversário, quando o juiz marca em prol do seu
time, é um exemplo bastante comum da prática do fairplay em campo.
Outro exemplo menos usual é o jogador assumir quando comete uma
falta, pedindo desculpas para o adversário e ajudando-o a se levantar.

“ Fair play” is an English expression that is related to
ethics, in other word, the participants must play in a way
that none of them harm the adversaries.
This term was created so the football players would
respect the other opponents, the referee and the fans.
FairPlay rules:
Nowadays, this term usually defines a set of rules which define
the values represented by the athletes. These ones can be
divided in four groups:
1- Equal opportunities
2- Conscious resignation to a dishonest victory
3- Vonluntary compliance of the rules
4- Rspect to the adversary/ opponent

Examples of fair play in sport:
Giving the ball to the adversary, when the judges scores in favor of the
other team, is a very simple example of the practice of FairPlay in camp.
Another situation less usual is when the player assumes that he/she
committed a foul, apologizing the opponent and helping him/her to stand
up.
