CHAPTER 4 – The Insight

I can’t deny… As soon as I came back, the feeling of frustration took me over. And it took me a while to

realize that just because I hadn't learned yet, it didn't mean I wouldn't learn. I was disappointed, but not defeated.

And now, I had a newfound determination - to master the English language, no matter what. I was determined

to understand how come I had studied so much, but I hadn’t learned. I wanted to know what had happened.

One of the things I soon realized was that the way the regular school prepares you might not be enough, and

However, I don’t know if you remember, but I had used other tools to help me out in my journey, like

watching movies in English and listening to music in English as well. However, again, all I did was kind of intuitive,

and I had no methodology or developed techniques to do what I was trying to do. I used to listen to songs in

Even though you don’t know me quite well enough, you might have realized I’m not the kind of person that

gives up easily. I knew that if I hadn't learned the way it was taught, there must be another way to learn. After all,
