Nota.........: 1 - O resultado Detectável (Positivo) indica a presença do patógeno na amostra analisada.

2 - O resultado Indetectável (Negativo) indica a ausência do patógeno ou concentração
inferior ao limite de detecção do teste.
3 - Em caso de resultado Negativo e persistindo os sintomas, sugere-se a critério médico
a repetição do mesmo ensaio de 3 a 5 dias.
4 - O resultado indeterminado deverá ser avaliado os sintomas, pois a concentração

A Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) indica o ensaio molecular RT-PCR como a referência
(padrão ouro) para confirmação de casos de COVID-19 devido a sua alta sensibilidade, uma

Os protocolos utilizados pelo Laboratório CR Diagnósticos para a detecção do RNA do SARS-
CoV-2 causador da COVID-19 são: Charité Institute of Virology-Berlin, Alemanha em Janeiro
de 2020 e CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), 2020.

de 11-03-2020, tornou público que o Laboratório CR Diagnósticos está habilitado para a

Sample-type..: Nasopharyngeal/Oropharyngeal swab

Note.........: 1 - The Positive result indicates the presence of the pathogen in the analyzed sample.
2 - The Negative result indicates the absence of the pathogen or a concentration below the
detection limit of the test.
3 - In case of a negative result and the symptoms persist, it is essential, at medical
discretion, to repeat the same test for 3 to 5 days.
4 - The indeterminate result must be evaluated for symptoms, as the concentration is close to the
detection limit of the test, concentrating on at medical discretion repeating the same test
within 3 days.
The World Health Organization appoints the molecular RT-PCR assay as the gold standard reference
for COVID-19 cases due to its high sensitivity, as it directly detects the genetic material of
the virus, its RNA.
