It is through games and jokes that the child has the chance to develop a
communication channel, an openness to dialogue with the world of children and
adults, where it establishes its internal control, their self-esteem and confidence
develops affinities with itself and with others. The school needs to promote learning
using fun activities that indicate an environment literacy to benefit the process of
acquisition of learning autonomy. School knowledge should be valued socially and
literacy needs to be a dynamic and creative process through games, jokes and
musicality. With this work, the main goal was to find the origin of playfulness, its
importance in the transmission of knowledge and mainly argue and prove its
importance in shaping the personality of human beings in phase of education,
particularly in childhood. The methodology of bibliographic character and a job within
the humanities, education, sought to develop it with the following steps: theoretical
survey of the construction process of knowledge of education, a historical analysis of
science and who were your early theorists and advocates historiographical
methodology, based on, analyze as is the use of playfulness in the daily lives of
people, especially parents, on a phenomenological methodology and check the
importance given to playfulness in education today. The proposed work presented
consents to ensure the experience of games and children, well made, sure will assist
in the development of psychomotor education and school in action soon. Admitted to
warn the main aspects of search that for sure will motivate the educators themselves
for further studies on the subject.
