2. MATERIAIS E MÉTODOS
O presente estudo utilizou a abordagem de revisão de escopo com
base nas diretrizes do Instituto Joanna Briggs (Aromataris et al. 2020).
Essa técnica é amplamente usada nas ciências da saúde para resumir e
divulgar os resultados de estudos sobre um tema em específico. Seu
objetivo é mapear de forma rigorosa e transparente o estado atual de
uma área temática, fornecendo uma visão descritiva dos estudos
analisados, sem realizar avaliação crítica ou síntese de evidências de
diversas investigações, como é feito em uma revisão sistemática. Foram
adotadas as diretrizes propostas por Arksey e O’Malley (2014), com
modificações sugeridas por Levac, Colquhoun e O’Brien (2010). Essas
adaptações foram feitas para adequar a metodologia aos objetivos
específicos desta revisão, a qual seguiu seis etapas distintas e
consecutivas: 1) Identificação da questão e objetivos de pesquisa; 2)
Identificação de estudos relevantes que abordassem de maneira
abrangente os propósitos desta revisão; 3) Seleção dos estudos de
acordo com critérios predefinidos; 4) Mapeamento dos dados obtidos
nos estudos selecionados; 5) Sumarização dos resultados por meio de
uma análise temática qualitativa, relacionada ao objetivo e questão de
pesquisa; 6) Apresentação dos resultados, enfatizando suas implicações
e contribuições.
Na primeira etapa foi definida a seguinte pergunta para a
investigação: Quais os materiais e processos empregados na produção de
calotas cranianas individualizadas que se utilizam de prototipagem rápida
em seu processo? Em seguida, foram selecionadas as seguintes
palavras-chave relacionadas ao tema específico em questão:
Cranioplasty, Productions, Cranial Prosthesis, Production Prosthesis,
Cranial Skull, Prosthesis e Cranial. As buscas foram realizadas nas bases
Pubmed e Lilacs, essas plataformas foram selecionadas por serem
abrangentes em estudos voltados às áreas da saúde. O operador
booleano “AND” foi utilizado entre os termos descritores, e os seguintes
filtros (clusters) das plataformas foram aplicados: 10 últimos anos,
somente artigos disponíveis na íntegra e escritos nos idiomas português
ou inglês. A seleção dos artigos seguiu os seguinte critério de inclusão:
1) Abordar métodos de prototipagem rápida 2) Exemplificar o processo
produtivo da prótese 3) Prótese voltada à porção superior do crânio
(Calota Craniana).
A busca na plataforma Pubmed e Lilacs retornou um total de 426
artigos, dos quais 292 foram excluídos por não estarem de acordo com
os critérios de inclusão, após isso 57 deles eram repetidos. Dos 64
trabalhos restantes, foi feita a leitura dos resumos para verificação do
atendimento aos critérios de inclusão, sendo 29 artigos selecionados
para leitura integral e após isso 21 artigos foram elencados para uso
neste artigo. A figura 1 representa um fluxograma do processo de
seleção das publicações dessas revisões.
3. RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO
Vinte e um estudos foram incluídos para análise neste estudo e, após leitura
completa dos textos, as seguintes informações foram recolhidas e
organizadas a partir de um formulário desenvolvido na plataforma
Google Forms: autor(es), ano de publicação, tipo de artigo, materiais
utilizados e técnicas utilizadas (Tabela 1).
