RESUMO
The report describes the internship activities at the Applied Psychology Service - SEPA
teaching clinic, in the approach of cognitive-behavioral therapy based on providing
services to children, young people and adults. CBT is composed of aspects of cognition
and behavior, with clear definitions about the objectives to be developed in the
therapeutic setting, being permeated by techniques and procedures to intervene in the
face of the symptoms presented by the patient in the sessions. This report contains
theoretical support on the procedures used, the readings, as well as the description of
the patient, cognitive conceptualization and other sessions. In view of this, the
internship is the opportunity to make the connection between theory and practice
together with supervision, being essential for the provision of care, obtaining guidance,
clarification of doubts, mistakes and successes in the role of student and therapist, with
the possibility to exchange experience with colleagues, and all learning from the
supervisor is very important.
