dúvidas, impulsos e atitudes impensadas.

favorecem a ocorrência de gravidez em
adolescentes.
▧ Nos dias de hoje sabe-se que na maioria dos
casos não é por falta de informação que as
adolescentes engravidam.

▧ Maiores riscos para a saúde da mãe por motivos bio-
psicosociais
▧ Maiores riscos para a saúde dos bebês: Os bebês de mães
adolescentes têm mais probabilidades de morrer, de ter baixo
peso ao nascer e sofrer efeitos de doenças a longo prazo.
▧ Diante dos desafios e contexto, muitas adolescentes recorrem
ao aborto provocado e muitas vezes em condições inseguras
▧ A gravidez na adolescência reforça o círculo vicioso da
pobreza e a doença: as mães adolescentes em muitos lugares
abandonam ou são obrigadas a abandonarem a escola, e são
menos propensas que seus parceiros para desenvolver suas
habilidades e competências vocacionais.
