Entre margens, violência e sofrimento: Introdução ao pensamento de Veena Das

Material didático – vídeo aulas

O material didático abaixo listado e apresentado por meio de vídeo aulas, tem como
objetivo central refletir de forma introdutória sobre alguns dos principais conceitos
presentes na obra da antropóloga Veena Das. Almeja-se, com estas aulas, propiciar aos/às
alunos/as a oportunidade de discutir conceitos como margem, violência, sofrimento, dor,
pobreza, mostrando como eles aparecem no pensamento da autora, sobretudo com sua
insistência na importância da etnografia e do cotidiano para a compreensão das
experiências dos sujeitos. Além disso, foi dada uma atenção especial ao diálogo, proposto
pela autora, entre antropologia e filosofia, sendo que, para tal, foram acessados alguns
autores com os quais ela estabelece parcerias teóricas.
As vídeo aulas elencadas foram gravadas entre os meses de outubro e dezembro e estão
disponíveis no YouTube, no canal do Numas Extensão. Além do endereço para cada aula,
são apresentadas sugestões de leitura a fim de aprofundar os conteúdos trabalhados.
