¹⁵ Não ameis o mundo, nem o que no mundo há. Se alguém ama o mundo, o amor
do Pai não está nele.
¹⁶ Porque tudo o que há no mundo, a concupiscência da carne, a concupiscência
dos olhos e a soberba da vida, não é do Pai, mas do mundo.
¹⁷ E o mundo passa, e a sua concupiscência; mas aquele que faz a vontade de Deus
permanece para sempre.
INTRODUCTION
• A Christian is a person who has accepted the Lord Jesus as his Lord and personal Saviour
and is living a holy life with the ultimate goal of making it to heaven (1 Peter 1:3-4).
• However, there are three terrible enemies- "the world system," "The flesh", and "the
devil" contending with the believer daily to make the Christian journey difficult and
impossible (Acts 20:29-30).
• In this study, we shall consider the enemy called "the world system."

• INTRODUÇÃO
• Um cristão é uma pessoa que aceitou o Senhor Jesus como seu Senhor e Salvador pessoal
e está a viver uma vida santa com o objetivo final de chegar ao céu (1 Pedro 1:3-4).
• Contudo, há três inimigos terríveis - "o sistema do mundo", "a carne" e "o diabo" - que
lutam diariamente com o crente para tornar a jornada cristã difícil e impossível (Actos
20:29-30).

C. Satan controls his evil world system and uses the
attractive things of the world to deceive and destroy people
(Matthew 4:8-9; 1 Peter 5:8).

materialism, cultism, addictions, lust, selfishness, greed,
pride, etc.
ii. Also, Satan uses filthy and worldly music, adulterated TV
reality shows, sexy movies, and indecent dressing to entice
innocent souls by flooding their minds with wrong thoughts
and getting them involved in unspeakable vices.
iii. He convinces people to rebel against higher authorities
(Jude 8) .
iv. This is what Apostle John summarises in 1 John 2:16, for
all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and lust of the
eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the
world. There is nothing good or godly in these things.
C. Satanás controla o seu sistema mundial maligno e usa as
coisas atraentes do mundo para enganar e destruir as pessoas
(Mateus 4: 8-9; 1 Pedro 5: 8).
i. O "sistema mundial" de Satanás compreende o amor ao
dinheiro, o materialismo, o cultismo, os vícios, a luxúria, o
egoísmo, a ganância, o orgulho, etc.
ii. Além disso, Satanás usa música suja e mundana, reality
shows adulterados na TV, filmes sensuais e roupas indecentes
para seduzir almas inocentes, inundando suas mentes com
pensamentos errados e envolvendo-as em vícios indescritíveis
iii. Ele convence as pessoas a se rebelarem contra as
autoridades superiores (Judas 8).
iv. Isto é o que o Apóstolo João resume em 1 João 2:16, Porque
tudo o que há no mundo, a concupiscência da carne, a
concupiscência dos olhos e a soberba da vida, não é do Pai,
mas do mundo. Não há nada de bom ou de piedoso nestas
coisas.
OUTLINE 2: GOD HAS “A NEW WORLD”

A. Satan's world system hates God, it hates God's son Jesus
Christ, and it hates God's people. Hence:
i. The Bible clearly warn against friendship with the world
(James 4:4).
ii. God will one day destroy Satan's world system (2 Peter
3:10).
B. This world has been ruined by sin, but God has a "new
world" for those who love him.
i. It is called the kingdom of God.
Ii The Lord Jesus is the King and Ruler of God's new world
(Isaiah 9:6; 1 Corinthians 15:25).
C. When we surrender our lives to the Lord Jesus to be our
Lord and Saviour:
i. God takes us out of Satan's kingdom of darkness and puts
us into "the kingdom of his dear son"
ii. We are no longer in Satan's world system (Galatians 1:4;
Colossians 1:12-14)

A. O sistema mundial de Satanás odeia a Deus, odeia o filho de
Deus, Jesus Cristo, e odeia o povo de Deus. Por isso:
i. A Bíblia adverte claramente contra a amizade com o mundo
(Tiago 4:4).
ii. Deus um dia destruirá o sistema mundial de Satanás (2
Pedro 3:10).
B. Este mundo foi arruinado pelo pecado, mas Deus tem um
"novo mundo" para aqueles que o amam.
i. É chamado o reino de Deus.
Ii O Senhor Jesus é o Rei e Governante do novo mundo de
Deus (Isaías 9:6; 1 Coríntios 15:25).
C. Quando entregamos nossas vidas ao Senhor Jesus para ser
nosso Senhor e Salvador:
i. Deus nos tira do reino das trevas de Satanás e nos coloca no
"reino de seu filho querido"
ii. Nós não estamos mais no sistema mundial de Satanás
(Gálatas 1:4; Colossenses 1:12-14)
• QUESTION: Identify five differences between Satan's "world system" and God's

• CONCLUSION: Satan's world system may seem very beautiful and attractive, but it is
a path to destruction (Proverbs 14:12). Choose to be on God's side.

• QUESTÃO: Identifique cinco diferenças entre o "sistema mundial" de Satanás e o

• CONCLUSÃO: O sistema mundial de Satanás pode parecer muito bonito e atrativo,
