comportamentais.
avaliados. Conclusão: Conclui-se que os acadêmicos avaliados
apresentaram baixo risco para dor lombar (lombalgia) e, portanto, para o
desenvolvimento de incapacidade física.

Low back pain is the feeling of pain or discomfort in the lower back, which
covers the area below the rib cage and above the pelvis. It can be divided by the
duration of pain into acute (up to 3-4 weeks), subacute (3-4 to 12 weeks) and
chronic (more than 12 weeks). After headache, low back pain is the second most
frequent symptom in medical consultations, being responsible for numerous
cases of hospitalization and surgical interventions (ABDUHALI et al., 2020).
People with chronic pain experience a decline in quality of life due to
musculoskeletal problems or depression and behavioral changes. The World
Health Organization (WHO), in the International Classification of Disabilities,
Disabilities and Handicaps, reports that low back pain results from psychological,
physiological and anatomical factors, combined or isolated (ZANATELLI et al.,
2021). The present study aimed to evaluate low back pain in post-pandemic
physiotherapy students in a private higher education institution in the city of
Uberlândia-MG. Fifty-seven volunteers were evaluated, being Physiotherapy
students, through a questionnaire on the intensity of low back pain in daily
activities - Roland-Morris Questionnaire. No significant correlations were found
for the variables: sex, age, period, and questionnaire score, and no significant
differences were found when compared to pain in relation to the sexes and age
of the evaluated volunteers. It is concluded that the evaluated students had a low
risk for low back pain (low back pain) and, therefore, for the development of
physical disability.
