O Present Continuous é um tempo verbal usado para expressar ações em andamento no

momento da fala ou em um período de tempo limitado no presente. Ele é formado pelo
verbo "to be" conjugado no presente simples seguido do verbo principal acrescido do sufixo
"-ing".

As regras de formação são as seguintes:

Adicione "am" após "I", "is" após "he", "she" ou "it", e "are" após "you", "we" e "they" para
formar a forma verbal auxiliar no presente simples.
Adicione o sufixo "-ing" ao verbo principal.
Em geral, o Present Continuous é usado com advérbios ou expressões de tempo que
