The NICU was created in 1960 with the main objective of providing essential care to
premature newborns and/or with health problems that compromise their lives. The
objective of the research is to identify the humanization process carried out by
nursing professionals in the NICU. The nursing professional at the NICU also works
in the technological reception of the neonate in the incubator, checking vital
parameters such as temperature, humidity, skin stimulation, and light., monitoring the
development of the NB, assistance to the mother, among other essential functions.
will be an integrative literature review study, which consists of building a
comprehensive analysis of data from the literature. The survey will be carried out
through searches of scientific articles from journals listed in electronic collections in
the databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online ( Scielo), Latin American and
Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (Lilacs), Nursing Database (BDENF),
Science direct and PubMed. Including scientific articles in Portuguese, published in
the last 5 years from 2017 to 2022 After collecting the scientific publications, a
reading will be made about the content, followed by a thorough analysis of the main
information. tions seeking to understand and expand specific knowledge on the
subject. It is hoped that the results of this research will contribute to the practice of
nursing professionals in the process of humanization in the NICU, as well as support
the scientific community to support future research.

3.1Tipo do estudo
Após a seleção das publicações cientificas, será feito uma leitura acerca do
conteúdo, seguindo de uma análise minuciosa das principais informações buscando
uma compreensão e ampliar um conhecimento especifico sobre o tema. Os dados
serão organizados a partir das informações a serem extraídas das publicações
selecionadas. A apresentação dos resultados e a discussão das informações será de
forma descritiva e por meio da construção de um quadro sinóptico, contendo o título
do estudo, autor, ano de publicação, bases de dados, tipo de estudo e resultados.
