Revista de Pernambuco
Periódico mensal que circulou no estado de Pernambuco entre os
anos de 1924 a 1926. Foi produzido um total de 28 edições editadas
pela Repartição de Publicações Oficiais do Estado de Pernambuco na
gestão do governador Sérgio Loreto. Essa revista tinha como intenção
divulgar as obras e programas do governo do estado, informando sobre
avanços sociais, políticos, tecnológicos e econômicos do estado. Heinrich
Moser foi o principal capista dessa revista produzindo impressionantes
ilustrações em diversos estilos e recursos visuais como estratégia de
comunicação.
Monthly periodical that circulated in the state of Pernambuco between
the years of 1924 to 1926. A total of 28 editions were edited by the Official
Publication Office of the State of Pernambuco during the management of
Sérgio Loreto’s government. This magazine was intended to publicize the
works and programs of the state government, informing about the state’s
social, political, technological and economic advances. Heinrich Moser
was the main cover maker of this magazine, and produced impressive
illustrations in diverse styles and visual resources as communication
strategy.

Jornal do Commercio
Um dos mais antigos do estado de Pernambuco, o Jornal do Commercio
foi lançado em Pernambuco em 1914. Durante os anos de 1920 e 1930,
Heinrich Moser produziu expressivas e detalhadas imagens em várias
edições. Em suas ilustrações utilizava um conjunto de traços ou pontos
pretos em cima do papel branco que conseguiam expressar muito bem a
noção de luz, sombra, volume e textura.
One of the oldest in the state of Pernambuco, Jornal do Commercio was

launched in Pernambuco in 1914. During the years 1920 and 1930,
Heinrich Moser produced expressive and detailed images in several of its
editions. In his illustrations he used a set of black dashes or dots on white
paper that could greatly express the notion of light, shadow, volume and
texture.

Pernambuco no Século XIX
Pernambuco in the 19th century
Heinrich Moser ilustra, nesse livro, personagens e cenas corriqueiras do

século XIX. Para isso, utiliza bico de pena. O livro foi escrito por Estevão
Pinto(1895-1968), membro da Academia Pernambucana de Letras,
com atuação como historiador, sociólogo, antropólogo e folclorista e
considerado um dos pioneiros da antropologia no Brasil. Também fazem
parte desse livro ilustrações do artista Baltasar da Câmera.
Heinrich Moser illustrates, in this book, ordinary characters and everyday

scenes from the nineteenth century. For this purpose, he makes use of pen
tip. The book was written by Estevão Pinto (1895-1968), a member of
the Pernambuco Academy of Letters, with a background as a historian,
sociologist, anthropologist and folklorist, who is considered one of
the pioneers of Anthropology in Brazil. Also included in this book are
illustrations by artist Baltasar da Câmara.

Neste livro escrito por Leovigildo Junior (1800-1900), Moser criou
uma capa possuindo ilustração sintética, bem definida e com estilo
arrojado. Nesta ilustração, em alguns momentos o branco do papel se
integra na imagem. Esse tipo de recurso foi também observado pelos
pesquisadores Chico Homem de Melo e Elaine Ramos em outras
produções dessa época.
In this book, written by Leovigildo Junior (1800-1900), Moser created a

very well defined cover in bold style, with synthetic illustrations in which
the white of the paper in some moments is integrated in the image. This
type of technique was also highlighted by the researcher Chico Homem de
Melo in other productions of that time.

Cruzada Sanitarista
Essas ilustrações foram feitas para a abertura dos doze capítulos do livro
Cruzada Sanitarista de 1924. O livro apresenta discursos de Amaury
de Medeiros (1893-1928), médico sanitarista que desenvolveu diversas
ações na saúde pública no estado de Pernambuco. Nessas imagens
produzidas por Heinrich Moser, em uma cor sóbria, percebe-se em seu
estilo o uso do alto contraste, na qual a noção de luz e sombra é dada
com uma habilidade impressionante pelos seus traços.
These illustrations were made for the opening of the twelve chapters of the
book Cruzada Sanitarista of 1924. The book presents speeches pronounced
by Amaury de Medeiros (1893-1928), a physician who developed several
actions on the public health in the State of Pernambuco. In these images
produced by Heinrich Moser, in a sober color, we can see the high contrast
in his style, where the notion of light and shadow is given with an
impressive skill by his drawing traces.

Academia Pernambucana de Letras, Lucilo Varejão. Nela são relatadas
histórias que costumavam ser contadas para crianças de gerações
passadas. Segundo Lucilo Varejão Filho, Moser revela-se um excelente
animalista.
Heinrich Moser illustrates, with simple and precise features, this children’s
book using only one color. This work was written by the member of the
Pernambuco Academy of Letters, Lucilo Varejão. It tells stories that used to
be told to children of past generations. According to Lucilo Varejão Filho,
Moser proves to be an excellent animalist.

Guarana - Brewery Company of Pernambuco
A Companhia Cervejaria Pernambucana foi fundada em 1916 e

produzia, além de cerveja, diversas outras bebidas, como o Guaraná,
divulgado nesta publicidade. A ilustração feita por Moser, para o cartaz
dessa empresa, possui um estilo bastante moderno, no qual as formas e
as sombras são definidas pelo uso de cores uniformes sem o recurso do
meio tom. O provável ano de produção foi 1917.
The Brewery Company of Pernambuco was founded in 1916 and

produced, in addition to beer, several other beverages, such as sodas,
which were advertised in this publicity. Moser’s illustration for the poster
of this company has a very modern style, in which shapes and shadows
are defined by the use of uniform colors without the use of half tone. The
probable year of production was 1917.
