IMPORTANTE
O verbo to do significa fazer.
Enquanto auxiliares, do e does não têm significado.

Alguns advérbios de tempo comumente utilizados são now (agora), at the moment (no momento) e at
present (no presente; atualmente).
Exemplos:
She is talking to her mom now. (Ela está falando com a mãe dela agora.);
Are they studying at the moment? (Eles estão estudando no momento?);
fazendo); e -indo (gerindo, caindo, sorrindo).
Utiliza-se o verbo to be no Simple Present (presente simples) como auxiliar e ao verbo principal, é
acrescida a terminação –ing.
Exemplo:
Exemplo:
Na forma interrogativa, o verbo auxiliar to be aparece no início da frase. O padrão da estrutura das frases
interrogativas é o seguinte:
Exemplo:
Forma afirmativa (affirmative form): They are studying for the test. (Eles estão estudando para o teste.)
Forma negativa (negative form): They are not studying for the test. (Eles não estão estudando para o
teste.)
Forma interrogativa (interrogative form): Are they studying for the test? (Eles estão estudando para o

To die (morrer) – dying
To lie (mentir) – lying
Exemplos:

Simples assim! Vamos dar uma olhada em alguns exemplos:
No presente No passado
I work (Eu trabalho) I worked (Eu trabalhei)
You work (Você trabalha) You worked (Você trabalhou)
He works (Ele trabalha) He worked (Ele trabalhou)
She works (Ela trabalha) She worked (Ela trabalhou)
It works (“Isto” trabalha) It worked (“Isto” trabalhou)
We work (Nós trabalhamos) We worked (Nós trabalhamos)
They work (Eles trabalham) They worked (Eles trabalharam)
aprender):
I cleaned my car.
Eu limpei meu carro.
She arrived later at the airport.
Ela chegou atrasada no aeroporto.
It started raining.
Começou a chover.
para I:
I try (Eu tento) > I tried (Eu tentei)
I study (Eu estudo) > I studied (Eu estudei)
última consoante e acrescenta-se -ed;
I stop (Eu paro) > I stopped (Eu parei)
I plan (E planejo) > I planned (Eu planejei)
aprendê-los.
A tabela a seguir mostra alguns verbos irregulares no presente e no passado.
I broke my leg.
Eu quebrei minha perna.
The bird flew to the north.
O pássaro voou para o norte.
He said “Hello, my friend”.
Ele disse “Olá, meu amigo”.
Yesterday I drank too much.
Ontem eu bebi muito.
Yesterday I ate a cake.
Ontem eu comi um bolo.
I heard a noise.
Ouvi um barulho.
I saw a dog on the street.
Eu vi um cachorro na rua.
Formas
Negative
para formar o passado negativo é “did not”, ou simplesmente “didn’t” (forma contraída).
fica no Infinitivo.
