SEMANA 2 (páginas 134 a 136)

A temática desta semana continua sendo o Thanksgiving. Como os textos em inglês

podem ser complexos para alunos com menos proficiência, sugiro o uso das dicas abaixo para
ajudar na leitura.
 Identificar as palavras cognatas (aquelas que se parecem com as da língua portuguesa) e
as que você já conhece;
 Fazer a inferência do significado de palavras e expressões desconhecidas com base na
temática do texto, no uso do contexto e no conhecimento adquirido de regras gramaticais e
de aspectos lexicais;
 Usar o Google tradutor ou um dicionário para entender as palavras que você não conhece.
Você pode fazer uma lista dessas no seu caderno, criando seu próprio vocabulário.
 Consultar o site thefreedictionary.com para aprender a pronuncia das palavras.

then wear new clothes, to worship Surya, the sun god.
