SEMANA 1 (páginas 130 à 133)

Para fazer o Pet VI, lembre-se de trabalhar a habilidade de inferir (deduzir) o significado e
expressões desconhecidas com base na temática do texto, no contexto e no conhecimento
adquirido de regras gramaticais e lexicais.
E analise, atentamente, os elementos comunicativos não verbais.

Atividade 1: Observe o que o texto aborda sobre o significado da data.

Atividade 2: Examine o que é falado logo no início do texto.

Atividade 3: Verifique o que é dito no seguinte trecho do texto: “The celebration includes marching
in the streets with drums, face painting, singing and performing traditional dances, like the
Kpanlogo.”

Atividade 4: Estude o que fala o decorrente trecho: “... is a biblical Holiday celebrated on the 15th
day of the month of Tishrei, which is between late September and late October.”

Atividade 5: Investigue o que diz a passagem: “ Jewish people reflect on how the Israelites felt
during their 40 years of travel in the desert after the exodus from slavery in Egypt, as referenced in
the Bible. The 7-day tradition includes special prayer services and holiday meals.”

Atividade 6: Analise o seguinte fragmento do texto: “ ... Organized by the Royal Horticultural
Society”

Atividade 7: Examine a próxima parte do texto: “Gardening tips, apple tasting and giant pumpkin
contest “

Atividade 8: Avalie o seguinte extrato: “...this festival has several fun activities including the Fruit &
Vegetable Compettion, which highlights the UK`s best growers and their best produce.”
