Resumo
Esta revisão apresenta informações sobre o efeito da domesticação no
comportamento dos animais de produção. Tem por objetivo comparar as
algumas definições de domesticação, descrever os fatores que a influenciaram
e descrever o comportamento reprodutivo, materno, alimentar e social.
Palavras-chave: Domesticação, socialização.
Abstract
This review provides information on the effect of domestication on the behavior
of farm animals. The objective was to compare the domestication of some

2. Definição domesticação
O animal doméstico deve passar aos seus descendentes, características próprias que
podem ser agrupadas nos seguintes atributos:
1-Sociabilidade: viver em grupos
2-Mansidão: ausência do instinto selvagem hereditariedade
3-Fecundidade em Cativeiro: perpetuação da espécie em cativeiro
4-Função Especializada: como carne, leite ou lã
5-Facilidade de adaptação Ambiental: mudanças de ambientes, que são
comuns durante a domesticação.
