VIVER E MORRER EM SAN JUNIPERO

Sociologia do audiovisual; Este artigo analisa o episódio intitulado San Junipero
Black Mirror; (2016) da série britânica Black Mirror, dirigido por Owen
San Junipero Harris, de modo a apontar como aparece a conexão entre
Morte e tecnologia; morte e tecnologia, manifesta no uso do verbo “to pass”
“To pass”. e na presença de uma assim chamada “terapia nostálgica”
ao longo da trama. Para tanto, o principal recurso meto-
dológ ico será identif icar como tais noções estão cons-
truídas no episódio, mobilizando os conceitos de memória
coletiva (Maurice Halbwachs) e vidas móveis (Anthony
Elliot e John Urr y). Pretende-se, pois, uma análise ima-
nente do mater ial, dando ênfase par t icular aos seus
elementos ex pressivos – enquadramentos, diálogos,
canções, as roupas das personagens, entre outros –,
de maneira a identificar os grupos sociais presentes no
episódio, via sociolog ia do cinema de Pierre Sorlin, e,
a partir daí, discutir os conceitos mencionadas acima.

methodological resource is to identify how such notions
are built in the episode. In these terms, some concepts
are mobilized, such as collective memory (Maur ice Halb-
wachs) and mobile lives (Anthony Elliot and John Ur r y).
So t hat t hese concept s are debated, it is intended,
therefore, an immanent analysis of the material, a pro-
cess in which its expressive elements – framing, dialogues,
songs, the characters’ clothes, among others – are par-
t icularly emphasised in order to ident if y the social
groups present in the episode by means of a discussion
centered in the sociolog y of cinema by Pierre Sorlin.
