Nos últimos anos, a violência escolar tem recebido atenção especial no campo da
investigação científica, por representar um grande e preocupante problema social devido
ao impacto deletério que causa tanto na saúde física como mental.
O apego saudável de início da vida se apresenta como uma “base segura” para o
indivíduo explorar o mundo a sua volta, bem como um “centro de refúgio” para os
momentos de angústia e insegurança, além de impactar na organização da conduta social,
vínculos afetivos e na qualidade das interações sociais ao longo do desenvolvimento.
Correlatos neurais dos estilos de apego demonstram também que, quanto maior o
relacionamento de apego evitativo, menor o volume de áreas que apresentam íntima
relação com a memória e reconhecimento visual de pistas sociais. Por outro lado, volume
maior do giro cingulado anterior, o qual desempenha importante papel na concentração,
julgamento social, diferenciação de sentimentos, motivação por interesse e percepção da
dor e sofrimento, foi associada a maiores escores de ansiedade no relacionamento de
vínculo de apego. Na mesma perspectiva, a atividade aumentada do giro cingulado
anterior foi associada a maior preocupação e vínculo de apego ansioso/ambivalente, já
que esta área também codifica informações acerca da probabilidade de recompensa,
impondo valor de esforço, ou seja o quão vigorosamente os objetivos devem ser
perseguidos, o que pode comprometer a tomada de decisão e conduta social.
No entanto, por mais que o sistema dopaminérgico atue como direcionador para
alvos recompensadores e isso esteja ligado a formação de vínculos afetivos, é a estreita
relação com o sistema ocitocinérgico, especificamente, com receptores de ocitocina
(OXTR), que abundam o estriado (importante região de processamento de recompensas),
que desencadeia a composição do vínculo de apego com o valor motivacional e a ação
direcionada à objetivos de engajamento onde, de forma indireta, a ocitocina no núcleo
accumbens aumenta a afinidade da dopamina aos receptores específicos D2.
A ocitocina, um agente neuroquímico produzido principalmente pelo hipotálamo
(responsável pela manutenção do estado de equilíbrio interno do organismo) e liberado
como neuro-hormônio pela hipófise posterior (responsável pelo aporte neuro-hormonal
para o organismo), tem seus efeitos periféricos bem esclarecidos, dentre os quais, a
contração uterina e a constrição dos ductos mamários, quando do período de lactação,
ancora também vários benefícios centrais que merecem atenção para a saúde mental, a
qualidade de vida, convivialidade e conduta social do indivíduo.
