Shalom Aleichem

This is a traditional prayer that is sung on Friday night as a way of

welcoming Shabbat.
Shalom Aleichem means peace to you.
There are mystical and spiritual aspects of this prayer.

‫בּוֹאֲ כֶ ם לְ ָשׁלוֹם מַ לְ אֲ כֵ י הַ ָשׁלוֹם מַ לְ אֲ כֵ י עֶ לְ יוֹן‬

‫ִממֶ לֶ� מַ לְ כֵ י הַ ְמלָכִ ים הַ ָקדוֹשׁ בָּ רוּ� הוּא‬

‫בָּ ְרכוּנִ י לְ ָשלוֹם מַ לְ אֲ כֵ י הַ ָשׁלוֹם מַ לְ אָכִ י עֶ לְ יוֹן‬

ham'lachim hakadosh baruch hu.

Bo'achem l'shalom mal'achei hashalom, mal'achai elyon, mimelech mal'chei

ham'lachim hakadosh baruch hu.
Barchuni l'shalom mal'achei hashalom mal'achai elyon, mimelech mal'chei
ham'lachim hakadosh baruch hu.

Tzeit’chem l'shalom mal'achei hashalom, mal'achai elyon, mimelech mal'chei

ham'lachim hakadosh baruch hu.

Peace to you, angels who serve God, angels on high,

From the ruler of all rulers, the Holy One, Blessed is God.
