Hello! I’m Tom and I’m twelve years old. I’m a student at
Stewart Middle School. It’s in Bedford, East of England.
My school is big and old. There are 650 students in my
school. There are two floors. The principal’s office, the
secretary’s office, the tuck shop, the library, the assembly
hall, the school stationary shop and the canteen are downstairs
on the ground floor. Upstairs on the first floor there are some
classrooms, labs, computer rooms, art rooms and music
rooms.
In my school we have got a big gym and three sports fields. Our breaks are too short! We only
have five or ten minutes between lessons but, during break time, I always meet my friends at the
sports field. I have got lots of friends.
There are some interesting school clubs too at school. I’m in the computer club. Technologies
are great and in the future I want to be a video games programmer. My favourite subjects are
maths and IT. I’m good with numbers.
My best friend, Mike, is in the chess club. I’m not very good at chess, you need to concentrate
really hard to win! I like going to school, I think it is a good place to make friends. And….do you
want to know a secret? Here it goes…when I am on holiday, I actually miss school!
