ARQUITETO AMIGOS
As pessoas com o tipo de personalidade do Arquiteto tendem a ter mais sucesso
no desenvolvimento de amizades do que com os relacionamentos românticos,
mas eles não sofrem de muitos dos mesmos contratempos, substituindo
processos racionais por disponibilidade emocional. Essa distância intelectual
tende a ser de ambos os lados, tornando os Arquitetos notoriamente difíceis de
ler e conhecer, e fazer os Arquitetos não quererem incomodar ler alguém que
eles pensem que não está no seu nível. Superar esses obstáculos é muitas vezes
quase impossível sem o tipo de conexão instantânea tornada possível

Os arquitetos tendem a ter opiniões sobre o que funciona, o que não, o que eles
estão procurando e o que não são. Esses gostos discriminatórios podem se
encontrar como arrogantes, mas os Arquitetos simplesmente argumentariam
que é um mecanismo básico de ltragem que lhes permite dirigir suas atenções,
onde eles farão o melhor. O fato é que, na amizade, os arquitetos estão
procurando mais de uma alma gêmea intelectual do que qualquer outra coisa, e
aqueles que não estão preparados para esse tipo de relacionamento são
simplesmente chatos. Os arquitetos precisam compartilhar idéias - um círculo
auto-alimentado de fofocas sobre amigos comuns não é um tipo de vida social
para eles.

Os arquitetos acompanharão apenas alguns bons amigos, evitando

círculos maiores de conhecidos a favor da profundidade e qualidade.

Further, having more than just a few friends would compromise Architects’ sense
of independence and self-su ciency – they gladly give up social validation to
ensure this freedom. Architects embrace this idea even with those who do t into
their social construct, requiring little attention or maintenance to remain on good
terms, and encouraging that same independence in their friends.

When it comes to emotional support, Architects are far from being a bastion of
comfort. They actively suppress their own emotions with shields of rationality and
logic, and expect their friends to do the same. When emotionally charged
situations do come about, Architects may literally have no clue how to handle
them appropriately, a glaring contrast from their usual capacity for decisive self-
direction and composure.

But Friendship Is Precious

When they are in their comfort zone though, among people they know and
respect, Architects have no trouble relaxing and enjoying themselves. Their
sarcasm and dark humor are not for the faint of heart, nor for those who struggle


to read between the lines, but they make for fantastic story-telling among those
who can keep up. This more or less limits their pool of friends to fellow Analysts
and Diplomat types, as Observant (S) types’ preference for more grounded and
straightforward communication often simply leaves both parties frustrated.

It’s not easy to become good friends with Architects. Rather than traditional rules
of social conduct or shared routine, Architects have exacting expectations for
intellectual prowess, uncompromising honesty and a mutual desire to grow and
learn as sovereign individuals. Architects are gifted, bright and development-
oriented, and expect and encourage their friends to share this attitude. Anyone
falling short of this will be labeled a bore – anyone meeting these expectations
will appreciate them of their own accord, forming a powerful and stimulating
friendship that will stand the test of time.

I find most people i meet somehow boring or uninteresting.At first i thought that it was due to
my approach (judging them superficially) and therefore i have really tried to improve my
emotional intelligence in order to better understand others.Still i prefer just being on my own
and having some imaginary debates with myself instead of engaging into debates with other
people where i have to fit in the idiotic norms of a political correct society. (INTJ-A)
