Abstract: Abstract: Recent years stand out for rapid changes in higher
education, especially in accounting education. These changes cause difficulties
for the teacher especially for the accounting teacher. Faced with this situation,
this research aims to identify these difficulties. The research is a descriptive and
qualitative bibliography, searching for background in books, scientific articles
and periodicals written by several writers such as Zabalza, Cunha & Pinto,
Araújo et al, Humberto, among others. The text describes a brief overview of
teaching in Brazil. Soon after, it tries to describe the main problems faced by the
teacher in accounting, such as those that are formed and become teachers, but
have no professional experience, but are those that encourage the scientific
production. On the other hand, teachers with a great deal of professional
experience do not have the pedagogical training necessary for teaching, and

the difficulties for qualification are less than those with less qualification. As well
as the excess of administrative work of the teachers with more titration.
Faced with this research does not seek to present the magic formula to solve
the problems of teaching, but identifies them.
