COMUNICADO AO MERCADO

A Hidrovias do Brasil S.A. (B3: HBSA3) (“Hidrovias” ou “Companhia”), mantendo o seu compromisso de
transparência com o mercado em geral, vem por meio deste comunicado informar que, conforme já é de
conhecimento público, a região Norte do Brasil tem apresentado um período de estiagem superior ao que
se observa historicamente durante este período sazonal, impactando pontualmente a profundidade dos rios
da Bacia Amazônica.

Nesse sentido, o calado operacional observado em alguns pontos da rota de navegação da Companhia no
Corredor Norte tem apresentado algumas restrições, sendo que, conforme divulgado anteriormente, a
Hidrovias implementou flexibilizações de forma a se antecipar e continuar operando diante de tal cenário
e que, até a presente data, não interrompeu seus serviços.

As atuais limitações operacionais e a continuidade do fenômeno para além do tempo esperado podem
resultar em eventual redução adicional de capacidade no quarto trimestre, dado que a Companhia está
navegando com comboios menores e com ciclos maiores que os usuais para o período.

Vale ressaltar que a Companhia segue buscando ajustes para executar o programa de 2023, sendo que a
movimentação realizada no quarto trimestre de cada ano já é historicamente mais baixa dada à sazonalidade
normal apresentada nesta época do ano. Desta forma, tal fato não compromete a estratégia definida para
o ano de 2023 e, da mesma forma, não altera a de 2024. A companhia segue com seus investimentos em
aumento de capacidade modular no Arco Norte para atender a forte demanda para escoamento de grãos
produzidos no Brasil.

NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Hidrovias do Brasil S.A. (B3: HBSA3) (“Hidrovias” or “Company”), maintaining its commitment to
transparency with the market in general, hereby informs that, as is already public knowledge, the North
region of Brazil has experienced a period of drought greater than that historically observed during this
seasonal period, specifically impacting the depth of the rivers in the Amazon Basin.

In this sense, the operational draft that was observed at some points of the Company's navigation route in
the North Corridor presented some restrictions, and, as previously disclosed, Hidrovias implemented
flexibility in order to anticipate and continue operating during such scenario and that, to this date, it has
not interrupted its services.

The current operational limitations and the continuation of the phenomenon beyond the expected time may
result in a possible additional reduction in capacity in the fourth quarter, given that the Company is sailing
with smaller trains and with longer cycles than usual for the period.

It is worth noting that the Company continues to seek adjustments to execute the 2023 program, and the
movement carried out in the fourth quarter of each year is already historically lower given the normal
seasonality presented at this time of year. Therefore, this fact does not compromise the strategy defined
for 2023 and, in the same way, does not change the strategy of 2024. The Company continues with its
investments in increasing modular capacity in the North Arch to meet the strong demand for grain flow
produced in Brazil.
