A capacidade mínima do yoke

b) The removal of magnetic particles surplus on the dry way test will be executed through air blow
on low speed, in order to preserve the discontinuities indications.
c) The intensity of the white light on the test surface shall be:
• at least 1000 lux for the test with particle being visible to the white light (equivalent to the
luminosity of a 100W lamp at a distance of 30cm);
• at most 20 lux for the test under black light.
d) On the test with fluorescent particles, the intensity of black lighting on the surface under test will
be at least 1000 µW/cm2 (for the measurement, the lamp shall be at a distance of at least 380 mm
from the tested surface). The evidence will be performed by means of a gauge sensitive to black
light, in the beginning, at each 8 working hours and whenever the work place is changed.
d.1) For the test according to PETROBRAS standard, the evidence of black light intensity
can be checked by the application of test on the standard defined in Figures 10, 11 or 12,
where the intensity will be considered as satisfactory if the discontinuity in the standard is
clearly visible.
e.1) In the beginning, at each eight working hours and whenever the work place is changed,
the test efficiency will be checked through standards from Figure 10 (test according to ASME
Standard) 11 or 12 (test according to PETROBRAS standard). The test will be considered as
satisfactory if appear a line clearly defined in the standards of Figures 10 or 11. The test will
also be considered as satisfactory if the indication end is between the two references
marked in the standard from figure 12.
e.2) In the beginning, at each eight working hours and whenever the work place is changed,
the lifting power of the yoke will be checked. The yoke minimum lifting power shall be 5,5 kg,
checked by lifting a standard block according to Figure 13 and shall be confirmed in the
place the test is being executed (the yoke shall be turned on in the same way the MP test
will be performed).
e.3) If any of the verifications is considered unsatisfactory, the test shall be repeated for the
inspected parts since the last satisfactory confirmation.
