b) A língua Portuguesa alcança aproximadamente 195 milhões de pessoas

enquanto a língua Inglesa 400 milhões.

d) O inglês ganhou muita força com o passar dos anos, hoje ele é falado pela
maioria global. Impedir esse avanço seria um retrocesso de vários anos
para a sociedade moderna, ou seja, não há motivos para não padronizar o
inglês como uma linguagem mundial. Nos dias de hoje o avanço
tecnológico aproximou pessoas de vários lugares do mundo, e essa
aproximação é facilitada pelo uso da língua inglesa. Como cita o autor o
inglês tornou-se a “língua franca, o Latim do mundo moderno”.

e) Segundo o autor, informação e conhecimento são fundamentais para o

sucesso. Fica subentendido que o domínio da língua inglesa irá beneficiar
aqueles que almejam esse triunfo.
