FUNÇÃO LOGARÍTMICA
Seja um número a tal que 𝒂 ∈ 𝕽∗+ e 𝒂 ≠ 𝟏. Denominamos função logarítmica à função 𝑓: 𝕽∗+ →

Resolução:
Vamos impor a condição de existência (C.E.) para o logaritmando: devemos ter 𝒙 − 𝟏 > 0 ⇒
𝒙 > 1.
Portanto, o domínio é 𝑫(𝒇) = {𝒙 ∈ 𝕽: 𝒙 > 1}.

Equações logarítmicas
São equações cujos logaritmos apresentam incógnita no logaritmando, na base ou no
logaritmo.
Exemplos:
𝟏) 𝐥𝐨𝐠 𝟑 (𝟐𝒙 − 𝟏) = 𝟐 𝟐) 𝐥𝐨𝐠 𝒙−𝟐 𝟑 = 𝟏 𝟑) 𝐥𝐨𝐠 𝟐 𝟏𝟔 = 𝒙 + 𝟏

Verificação:
𝟏𝟐 + 𝟏 > 0 ⇒ 2 > 0 (𝑉)

Inequações logarítmicas são desigualdades que envolvem logarítmos.
