Anexo I:

Projetos Tipo para Defensas Metlicas Disposies Gerais


1. Introduo
Este Anexo apresenta solues padronizadas de Dispositivos de Conteno para os
locais com situaes de risco de acidentes com vtimas, considerando o histrico de
acidentes no segmento, a inspeo em campo e a norma ABNT NBR 15.486/2007.
Esta norma lista vrias situaes que devem ser tratadas para termos uma rodovia
segura. O conceito bsico o da ZONA LIVRE, isto , a existncia de uma faixa, alm
da linha de borda da pista, sem obstculos fixos ou taludes crticos. Desta forma, o
condutor de um veculo desgovernado poder ter condies de recuperar o controle
antes de se chocar com uma rvore, antes de cair em um barranco ngreme ou de
impactar com outra situao de risco dentro da rea definida como ZONA LIVRE.

2. Zona Livre
O clculo da Zona Livre feito atravs do baco da Figura 1 da norma ABNT NBR
15.486/2007. Para a determinao da Zona Livre de uma determinada rodovia
necessrio conhecer os seguintes valores: o VDM e a velocidade de projeto. De forma
a criar valores padronizados em funo dos parmetros das rodovias federais, pode-
se adotar os seguintes valores para a largura da Zona Livre:

Em funo das curvas horizontais, a largura da Zona Livre dever ser aumentada em
20% do valor da tabela, para raios de curvatura menores de 800m, conforme tabela
abaixo:

3. Tipos de obstculos fixos


Os obstculos encontrados nas rodovias representam riscos de acidentes. Estes
obstculos devero ser tratados de forma a eliminar o risco aos usurios da rodovia.
So os seguintes elementos e situaes que podem ser considerados como
obstculos:

rvore ( 15 cm)
Poste de iluminao
Coluna de prtico, semi-prtico ou PMV
Pilar de ponte ou passarela
Telefone de socorro
Abrigo para ponto de nibus
Suporte de placa de sinalizao
Obras de Arte Corrente
Elementos de concreto (caixas de drenagem, fundaes no utilizadas)
Pedras e mataces
Talude crtico
Bifurcaes

Para as situaes acima listadas, dever ser empregada uma das opes abaixo
listadas, na seguinte ordem:
Remover o obstculo
Afastar o obstculo da rea da Zona Livre
Proteger do perigo, representado pelo obstculo, empregando um dispositivo
de conteno lateral, ou com um dispositivo amortecedor de impacto.

4. Emprego de dispositivos de conteno em situaes de obstculos


fixos
Quando no for possvel efetuar a remoo ou o afastamento do obstculo para fora
da Zona Livre calculada, dever ser implantada uma linha de defensa metlica, para
proteger do risco de impacto.

4.1 Clculo do comprimento necessrio para obstculo isolado (uma


rvore, um bloco de fundao, etc)
Os postes e as rvores com afastamento entre si maior que 40m, medido ao longo da
pista, so considerados como obstculos fixos isolados. Para a determinao do
comprimento necessrio de defensas necessrio calcular geometricamente a
extenso do dispositivo de forma que intercepte a trajetria do veculo desgovernado,
considerando um ngulo de impacto de no mximo 15, de forma que o veculo no
atinja o obstculo, conforme figuras abaixo (desenhos no final do texto):

4.2 Clculo do comprimento necessrio para mltiplos obstculos


(duas ou mais rvores, linha contnua de postes, etc)
So considerados obstculos mltiplos aqueles que, ao longo da pista, tenham
distncia, entre si, menor que 40m. Para a determinao do comprimento necessrio
de defensas necessrio calcular geometricamente a extenso do dispositivo de
forma que intercepte a trajetria do veculo desgovernado, considerando um ngulo de
impacto de no mximo 15, de forma que o veculo no atinja o obstculo, incluindo
toda a extenso da linha de obstculos, conforme figuras abaixo (desenhos no final do
texto):

5. Tratamentos especiais

5.1 Incio de tramo de defensas

Opes para incio de tramo de defensas:

Terminais de Entrada: Conjunto de incio de tramo de defensas que faz de modo


adequado e seguro, a ancoragem de entrada, que seja capaz de desenvolver a tenso
total da lmina para prover a conteno e o redirecionamento de veculos
desgovernados, podendo ser terminais enterrados (para velocidades das vias
inferiores a 60 km/h), desviados, ancorados em taludes de corte, ou terminais
absorvedores de energia.

Terminal enterrado: Conjunto composto por 4 mdulos de defensa, variando na


altura desde a posio de projeto at a extremidade totalmente enterrada, que deve
ser firmemente fixada ao solo, atravs de pea apropriada. vedado o seu uso em
locais com velocidade de projeto superior a 60 km/h. Deve ser implantado de
acordo com a figura em anexo:

Terminal desviado: Tipo de terminal abatido defletido horizontalmente de forma a que


a variao de altura da lmina se inicie fora da zona livre, calculada conforme a NBR
15486. Nesta situao, a deflexo horizontal permitida (a partir da borda do
acostamento) de 4:1

Terminal ancorado em talude de corte: Conjunto onde as defensas so defletidas


horizontalmente prosseguindo at o talude de corte onde deve ser firmemente
ancorada.

Amortecedor retrtil: Consiste em um cabeal de impacto acoplado a um sistema de


lminas de defensa, adequadamente ancorado, que ao serem impactados
frontalmente absorvem a energia cintica do veculo impactante, conduzindo-o a uma
parada segura. O amortecedor retrtil, tratado na NBR 15.486 como terminal
absorvedor, dever ser implantado quando:
No for possvel empregar o terminal ancorado em talude de corte
No existir espao para o emprego do terminal desviado, quer seja por canteiro
estreito ou por existir um talude crtico de aterro.

5.2 Obstculos em bifurcaes

Os obstculos, como, por exemplo, coluna(s) para placa de sinalizao, em situaes


de bifurcao (sada de pista) devero ser tratados com a implantao de
Amortecedores de Impacto.

5.3 Incio de Barreira em canteiro central (ou lateral)

O incio de barreiras ou defensas em canteiro central apresenta riscos aos usurios,


nas rodovias com velocidade de projeto maior que 60 Km/h. Nestes casos o sistema
de conteno (defensa ou barreira) dever ser tratado com a implantao de
Amortecedor de Impacto.

5.4 Taludes em aterro

Os aterros com mais de um metro de altura e com talude com declividade maior que
1:3, devero ser tratados com defensas, em toda a extenso do talude crtico,
conforme item 4.2.1.1.1 da NBR 15.486.

5.5 Cabeceiras de pontes e conexo entre defensas e barreiras

Nas cabeceiras de pontes (entrada e sada) devero ser implantadas defensas


metlicas de forma a impedir a queda do veculo. Na inexistncia de obstculos fixos
ou taludes crticos na proximidade da ponte, devero ser implantadas defensas com
os comprimentos mnimos conforme desenhos (ver Figuras 12 a 18 no final do texto).
No caso da existncia de obstculos fixos ou taludes crticos na proximidade da ponte,
as defensas devero ter a extenso aumentada, de forma a abranger estes perigos.
No caso em que a ponte, ao invs de ter uma barreira de concreto, tenha um gradil de
concreto ou barras de ao, a defensa dever ser implantada em todo o comprimento
da ponte, empregando colunas flangeadas.

6. Tabelas de comprimento de tramo de defensas em situaes de


obstculos fixos

As defensas devem ser instaladas a uma distncia mnima de 1,0m da borda


da faixa de rolamento da rodovia. Nos casos em que a crista do talude de
aterro esteja a menos de 1,5m da borda da faixa de rolamento, a distncia
poder ser diminuda para 0,5m. Neste caso, tendo pouco solo atrs dos
postes da defensa, o espaamento entre postes dever ser reduzido para 2m e
o comprimento do poste dever ser aumentado para 2,5m.

Considerando que o clculo para o comprimento do Terminal Desviado (TD) dado


pela equao:
TD = (ZL A) x 4 + 8; sendo
ZL a largura da Zona Livre
A a distncia entre a defensa e a faixa de borda da pista de rolamento.

Para as situaes comuns de refgio e acostamento, so considerados os seguintes


valores:
Refgio A = 1,0m
Acostamento A = 2,5m
Considerando que a Ancoragem de Sada (AS) pode ser executada com 8m, devem
ser empregados os esquemas de defensas, conforme as figuras 1 e 2, e as tabelas I
(Refgio) e II (Acostamento).
