WELCOME TO SYSTEMIC BILINGUAL!

Content Based Teaching of English as a Foreign Language – CBTEFL (Ensino de Inglês como Língua

DESENVOLVIMENTO HUMANO

Construção progressiva da autoconfiança e autonomia;

Valorização da própria cultura;
Abertura à diversidade cultural do mundo globalizado e interligado.

CONTEÚDO

Aprendizagem por meio de atividades variadas levando em consideração as inteligências múltiplas;

Desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico;
Estruturação de uma visão de mundo abrangente;
Diversidade de tópicos interdisciplinares.

LÍNGUA

Exposição completa e natural ao idioma;

Atenção à precisão gramatical da produção dos alunos, adequada a suas idades;

Fill in the blanks with one of the following words or expressions: HERBIVORES,
02 CARNIVORES, DECOMPOSERS, PRODUCERS, FOOD CHAIN, PRIMARY CONSUMERS,
SECONDARY CONSUMERS and PHOTOSYNTHESIS.

A FOOD CHAIN is a series of organisms where the first is food for the

second, which is food for the third, and so on. Every participant in a food chain is

important. The first participants in a food chain are the PRODUCERS . They

produce their own food by taking non-living things from the environment to make

food. Plants, for example, transform sunlight, carbon dioxide (CO2), and water into

food. This process is called PHOTOSYNTHESIS .

Next come the PRIMARY CONSUMERS . They feed on producers because they

cannot make their own food. Animals that eat plants are primary consumers. They

are also called HERBIVORES .

Proibida a reprodução total ou parcial desta obra.

SECONDARY CONSUMERS feed on primary consumers. They are animals

that eat other animals. They are also called CARNIVORES .

The last link in a food chain are the DECOMPOSERS . Bacteria and fungi are the

most important examples of decomposers. They feed on dead plants and animals,

release carbon dioxide and minerals back into the environment, and producers

can use them again. That is why we call this whole process a chain.
