IMPORTANTE:
Este manual deve ser considerado como parte de seu equipamento e
deve permanecer com o mesmo durante todo tempo.
ASSISTÊNCIA TÉCNICA
1. RECOMENDAÇÕES DE SEGURANÇA
1.1 - Não utilizar a SEVTT para elevar peças condutivas, tais como:
trenas metálicas, cabos elétricos, antenas, etc. Acidentes fatais podem
ocorrer se estas peças entrarem em contato com redes elétricas
energizadas.
1.2 - Não estender ou recolher a SEVTT sem que ela esteja na posição
vertical e sua base apoiado no solo. (figura 1)

IMPORTANTE:
Não é recomendável o uso da SEVTT sob chuva. (figura 2)

2. INSTRUÇÕES DE OPERAÇÃO

2.3 - Para estender, apoie a SEVTT no solo na posição vertical, junto ao
local de trabalho.
2.4 - Puxe o primeiro elemento até o travamento do mesmo. Repita este
processo em cada elemento subsequente, observando sempre o
completo travamento dos botões de fixação até atingir a altura necessária
de trabalho. (figura 4)

2.5 - Para recolher, manter a SEVTT na posição vertical apoiada no solo e
aperte o botão do elemento base, segurando o elemento imediatamente
superior, com o objetivo de amortecer a descida, deixando-o deslizar
suavemente. Proceder desta forma para os elementos subsequentes, até

NOTAS:
1) Nunca coloque o dedo no orifício do botão, o que pode causar lesão nos
membros da mão. (figura 6)
2) A descida em queda livre poderá causar danos mecânicos à SEVTT.
Obedeça às distâncias mínimas de segurança de acordo com a tabela da
OSHA - Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

3) A região de empunhadura proporciona ao eletricista total segurança na
realização de quaisquer manobras, desde que obedecidas às distâncias
mínimas de segurança.
No caso de uso da SEVTT para medição de altura, as marcações

numéricas são gravadas de 10 em 10 cm e as marcações intermediárias a
cada centímetro. (figura 7)

Para realizar a leitura, basta apoiar a SEVTT no solo em posição vertical e
deslocar os elementos para cima até que o cabeçote alcance o ponto
onde deseja-se medir a altura. (figura 8)

3. CONSERVAÇÃO E LIMPEZA
3.1 - A SEVTT deve ser tratada com cuidado para evitar arranhões,
quedas e contaminações que possam danificá-las. Qualquer elemento
poderá ser removido para operação de limpeza, reparo ou substituição.
Limpar periodicamente os elementos utilizando um tecido de algodão
embebido em álcool isopropílico.
NOTA:
Não realizar limpeza com outros solventes industriais.

4. ACONDICIONAMENTO E TRANSPORTE

4.2 - Sempre utilizar sacola em lona repelente a água para acondicio-
namento e transporte.
IMPORTANTE:
Não armazene a SEVTT molhada e/ou em locais com alta umidade.

1. SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
1.1 - Do not use SEVTT to lift conductive parts, such as: metal tape
measures, electrical cables, antennas, etc. Fatal accidents can occur if
these parts come into contact with live electrical networks.
1.2 - Do not extend or retract the telescopic pole without it being upright
and its base resting on the ground. (figure 1)

It is not recommended to use SEVTT in the rain.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

2.2 - Attach the proper accessory to perform the required task to the
universal head of the Telescopic Hot Stick. ( figure 3)

2.3 - Vertically place the Telescopic Hot Stick on the ground, close to the
working site, in order to extend it.
2.4 - Extend the top section (1st section) until locking it. Extend the
subsequent sections likewise and make sure the buttons are locked until it
reaches the necessary height. ( figure 4).
IMPORTANT: Any traction eff ort greater than 136 daN (ASTM F 1826)
may cause damage to the SEVTT.

2.5 - To retract the stick sections, maintain the Telescopic Hot Stick in
vertical position, place it on the ground and press the base section
button, holding the subsequent section, allowing a smooth sliding down.
Proceed likewise to retract the subsequent sections, until the stick fully
retraction. (figure 5)

NOTES:
1) Never put the finger in the buttonhole, which can cause injuries.
2) Free fall retraction may cause damage to the Telescopic Hot Stick. It is a
must keep the safety minimum distances according to OSHA -
Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

3) The handle area allows total safety to the electrician during any task as
long as the safety distances are respected.
In the case of using the SEVTT for height measurement, the numerical
markings are recorded every 10 cm and the intermediate markings every
centimeter. ( figure 7)

To perform the reading, simply support the SEVTT on the ground in a
vertical position and move the elements upwards until the head reaches
the point where you want to measure the height . (figure 8)

3. CLEANING AND CONSERVATION
3.1 - SEVTT must be treated with care to avoid scratches, falls and
contamination that could damage them. Any element can be removed for
operation, cleaning, repair or replacement.
Periodically clean the elements using a cotton cloth dipped in isopropyl
alcohol.
NOTE:
Do not clean it with other industrial solvents.

4. STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
4.1 - Always use the rubber fastening to avoid damages during storage
and transportation. ( figure 9)

4.2 - Always use a water resistant canvas bag for Telescopic Hot Stick
transportation and storage.
IMPORTANT:
Do not storage the SEVTT wet and/or places with high humidity
6 - ENVIRONMENTAL RECOMMENDATIONS
At the end of the useful life of SEVTT, the waste must be eliminated:
- Fiber glass and epoxy resin residues: industrial landfill or incineration;
- Metal debris: junkyard;
- Rubber: recycling.

Este manual debe estar disponible para todos los usuarios y considerarse

2. INSTRUCCIONES DE USO

2.3 - Para extenderlo, apoye la SEVTT en el suelo en posición vertical
cerca del área de trabajo.
2.4 - Tire el primer tramo hasta que se bloquee. Repetir este proceso para
cada tramo posterior, siempre observando el bloqueo completo de los
botones de fijación hasta alcanzar la altura de trabajo necesaria. (figura 4)

2.5 - Para retraer, mantener la SEVTT en posición vertical sobre el suelo y
presionar el botón del tramo base, sujetando el tramo inmediatamente
arriba, para amortiguar el descenso deje que se deslice suavemente.
Proceda así con los siguientes tramos, hasta que la SEVTT esté
completamente retraída. (figura 5)

3. CONSERVACIÓN Y LIMPIEZA
NOTA:
No limpiar con otros disolventes industriales.

4. EMBALAJE Y TRANSPORTE

4.2 - Utilice siempre una bolsa de lona repelente al agua para embalaje y
el transporte.
IMPORTANTE:
No almacene la SEVTT húmedo y/o en lugares con mucha humedad.

6 - RECOMENDACIONES AMBIENTALES
Al final de su vida útil todos los residuos de las SEVTT deberán ser
eliminados en instalaciones que cuenten con autorización sanitaria:
- Residuos de fibra de vidrio y resina: Rellono industrial o inceneración;
- Residuos metálicos: chatarra;
- Caucho: reciclaje.
