Aula 5 – Present Continuous + Possessive adjectives/pronouns

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
• O Present Continuous ou Present Progressive (em português,
presente contínuo ou progressivo) é um tempo verbal usado para
indicar ações que estão em progresso no presente; no momento
da fala.
• Como as frases com Present Continuous referem situações que
ocorrem no momento da fala, é comum observarmos a utilização
de advérbios de tempo nas frases.
• Alguns advérbios de tempo comumente utilizados
são now (agora), at the moment (no momento) e at present (no
presente; atualmente).

AFIRMATIVA
Sujeito + verbo to be + verbo com -ing + complemento
• She is studying English now. (Ela está estudando Inglês agora.)
NEGATIVA
Sujeito + verbo to be + NOT verbo com -ing + complemento
• She is not/isn’t studying English now. (Ela não está estudando Inglês
agora.)
INTERROGATIVA (Inverte Verbo to be com o sujeito)
Verbo to be + sujeito + verbo com -ing + complemento
• Is she studying English now? (Ela está estudando Inglês agora?)

objetivo de expressar o sentido de posse.

• Our – nosso(s), nossa(s)
• Your – seus, suas (de vocês)
• Their – deles, delas
