● Durante episódios de hipoglicemia. Doença pulmonar
crônica, tais como asma e Doença Pulmonar Obstrutiva
Crônica (DPOC), devido ao risco de broncoespasmo
agudo.

• as doses de insulina e as vias de aplicação são individualizadas. O paciente deve seguir as
instruções do médico.
• seguir as instruções dos fabricantes para preparação e aplicação da dose.
nas emergências, para uso intravenoso, utiliza-se a insulina regular ®.

Reações que Podem Ocorrer

✴️Hipoglicemia (leve a moderada): ansiedade; cansaço incomum; batimentos cardíacos acelerados;
confusão mental; dificuldade de concentração; dor de cabeça; fala enrolada; fome excessiva;
fraqueza; instabilidade; mudanças do comportamento (o paciente parece embebedado); náusea;
nervosismo; pele pálida e fria; pesadelos; sono agitado; sonolência; suores frios; visão borrada.

Hipoglicemia (grave): convulsões; coma; ganho de peso.
OUTRAS CONSIDERAÇÕES
IMPORTANTES
• paciente deve reconhecer os sinais de hipoglicemia (vide em Reações) e também os sinais de
hiperglicemia e cetoacidose que pode ocorrer em diabéticos, que são: visão borrada; sonolência; boca
seca; aumento da urina (da frequência e do volume); cetonas na urina (exame de laboratório); perda do
apetite; sonolência; dor de estômago; náusea; vômito; cansaço; respiração profunda e rápida;
inconsciência; sede excessiva.

• a administração subcutânea permite uma absorção mais lenta do produto e causa menos dor do que
as injeções intramusculares.

• seguir rigorosamente o regime terapêutico, fazendo também uma dieta alimentar, controle de peso,
exercícios e uma boa higiene pessoal para evitar infecções.

• não fumar nos 30 minutos seguintes à aplicação da insulina, para que a absorção do produto não

IMPORTANTES
a insulina humana pode ser vantajosa para: pacientes que são alérgicos às Insulinas animais;
pacientes não-dependentes de insulina, que requeiram tratamento intermitente ou curto (como na
gravidez, nas cirurgias, nas infecções ou na nutrição parenteral total); pacientes com resistência à
insulina ou aqueles que desenvolveram lipoatrofia.

• determinar o nível de glicose no sangue constantemente, para poder adequar as doses da

medicação.

• não alterar o tipo de insulina recomendado pelo médico.

• pressionar levemente o local, após injetar o produto.

● • retirar o produto da geladeira algum tempo antes de injetá-lo. Não aplicar o produto
