ABSTRACT: In the process of searching for the teaching identity and the exercise of teaching, taken
by the desire to search, I came across 'suddenly'. Suddenly, everything happens, everything changes,
everything changes. What was ‘normal’ is no longer normal. What was right, needs adjustments.
What I knew how to do, becomes vague in the face of a pandemic. The proposed reflection is the
unveiling of the expression 'Suddenly, remote classes! The reinventing oneself in the teaching
profession ’, with the objective of‘ understanding the teaching reinvention through the production of
pedagogical materials for remote classes in the period of COVID-19 ’. Two fragments of speeches by
education professionals open the way for the description of the production of pedagogical materials,
that is, of the materials produced by teachers in this period of COVID-19. The research is qualitative
and, through the methodology, the documentary research, considering the phenomenological look
on the reflection that is intended to be appreciated.
